General Marvel Legends

Update on my Consumer Care from Hasbro for my Cap/Venom set with missing prices.

Four packages.

Detroit Steel
One Cap America Monster Force Nerf Gun
X-Factor Scott Nemesis wave
Husk Nemesis wave

I had been wanting the Scott, and can't knock this haul. Won out on value.

Saw Strong Guy at EB. Tempting to rebuy X Factor (Alex and Lorna are coming again, yeah?) but I must succeed on my focus.

They sent you FOUR items to make up for one $60 item? Damn.

Now I kinda hope the second Rogue/Gambit set I ordered is messed up in some way. Just not her face! :)

The Hellfire figure shirt is Dan Who's channel mascot, Hellfire Hank.
More important than a redo of the Hellfire guards would be actual Hellfire member Harry Leland.

I've been saying for AGES they should do Multiple Man in army builder packs! I was never able to find the figure of him in his X-Factor costume, and have had to make due with his green costumed look in my X-Factor display. To me, it seems like a no-brainer to do builder packs of him without his jacket. People who already have the previous one would still buy him, and those of us who missed out will finally be able to actually complete that team!
Really they just need to re-release him - I doubt they would make him an army builder per se like the past packs, but just put him up for order again on Pulse and make to order.

I think the most glaring missing army builder is the Kree soldiers. And the Prime Sentinels from the HasLab with new head sculpts. I hadn't consider Shi'ar warriors but would take them for sure...

I was really confused why they sent four packages. I don't know if there was a mix-up. It was also an adventure getting them cuz FedEx is incompetent.

Anytime you have a QC issue you can let them know. I don't abuse it, but I had a broken shield and one of them had two normal heads, no screaming heads
in one of my sets. Anytime I've had a fused joint during the early pinless.

My biggest get was Optimus Prime when he was really hard to get from the studio series, I got the only one my EB even got in and one of his smoke stacks was broken inside. I was able to fix it by taking the arm apart and reinforcing it with glue, but given his price I reached out and they sent me a couple Transformers I didn't care about but aftermarket sure did.

It is interesting how Hepzibah turned from skunk lady to essentially a white cat lady over time. Even editors can't figure out shading of previous artwork. Maybe her race turns white over time? I'd want her earlier look. Some of the other ones posted, like that Frank artwork...I'd rather take a simplistic swimsuit over forced "modern" armor look. Hell, if it wasn't for her companions surrounding her, I wouldn't recognize her.

I like Dwight mentioning Hellfire Club and Skrulls being updated. I passed on the the first time around (I really prefer the styling of the Marvel Select Skrulls to superhero physiques with Skrull heads) but would probably cave on updated versions. Maybe use Toad's body for Skrulls? I'd also go for some SHIELD members. And Shi'ar army builders sounds great. Kree as well?

Dwight also mentioned them mocking up the Danger Room. Showed it to "some people" and they're trying to figure out how best to release it. Sounds like they put a little more work into it than just sketches.

Hulk has upcoming product. Which has been hinted at being a wave. Also the mention of deluxe/oversized retro cards, which could be Hulk stuff. Jesse Falcon wants a Hulk in a similar size to Gamerverse Juggernaut but they don't have concrete plans for one just yet, so it would be 1-2 years away.

Yep, the small, kind of scrawny basic Skrulls were well done by Marvel Select. Not very articulated but great for army building.

I'd be in for the Danger Room provided it's done large enough to facilitate large team instances. If it's just some standee of cardboard and clip together plastic I probably wont bother. But if it's modular so you can buy a couple kits and build out a larger footprint for the room, complete with an access door, removable panels to show damage/circuitry in the room, various robots or attachable weapons arms and an elevated viewing booth for Xavier and maybe one other figure I'd be all over it.

As for a Multiple Man rerelease I feel like after season #2 of X-Men 97 hits we're likely to get another Jaime, more than likely wearing a green jacket that prompts everyone to dump their previous MM and rebuy these. I wouldn't be surprised if the new Guido was done to reflect his X97 appearance and be fudgeable for that line.

This is one I really feel like they should put out. Most def.
This would be an army builder I'd be all over in the 10-12 purchase sense. But they need a better body in addition to the heads. Definitely prefer the comic versions over the X97 ones which are just cybernetic humans without all the sentinel accouterments on them.

No way you posted this pic without mentioning that we need Spat and Grovel.
As much as I like the Madureira years, even I passed on the ToyBiz Spat and Grovel.

I'd take waist-coat Gambit which was shorter lived than Bandana Wolverine, but that shaved head Bishop is another I'd go for.

Would love that Bishop! Cannonball, Shi'ar Rogue, Gambit, Bishop, Joseph all Joe Mad style - absolutely in. That's a great line-up.

Speaking of Toad - I'm surprised a) that the figure sold so poorly and b) that hyper-articulated body has not yet been reused. It just needs a different, less paunchy torso to be a really useful buck. Saw someone make a custom Gen X Skin from it and it mostly worked, except for the paunch.

I'm surprised Toad was even pinless. I've given his Frog friends (as I don't ever remember him being flanked by amphibians) to Croc Master from GI Joe. I think the Shiar space suits are worthy of their due, considering how much the recent Deathbird release factored into that storyline as well.

Emplate I think would make the most interesting Gen X release, but Penance would be fun too. It's a shame they rolled her into M to make her even MORE powerful, like diamond form Emma Frost.
