Star Wars Black Series

My armored Moff Gideon and x2 Praetorian Guards shipped from Pulse today. So now I have them and Sebulba on the way. It's nice to get some more Praetorians. I liked army building them during the Last Jedi film. I don't think they made all the different looks for the Last Jedi Praetorian, did they? They also never finished the damn Knights of Ren.

I'm almost positive they did all the LJ Praetorian Guards, but not the weapon combinations? The one with the bigger helmet in the middle, there were two of that guy with different weapons, then three of each of the two smaller helmet guys, eight total.

Cool. Yeah, if that's all the helmet combinations, I have Black Series figures of all those in the picture. So, I'm glad they did get the different helmet looks out. it must have just been the weapons combinations I was thinking.

Knights of Ren though, they only let out one. That blows! I wish they'd let them all out, and I also wish they would let out the leader/Ren of the Knights of Ren from the comics. The leader that Ben Solo killed to become Kylo Ren.
 
Yeah, I feel like the Knights of Ren need the group to really be cool. On their own, they weren't quite as interesting, especially the one they did do.

It probably was Dark Rey. There are quite a few figures I'd like to have from that Movie. Knights of Ren, Ben Solo from the final battle, Palpatine in his decrepit Clone body, Palpatine Reborn/restored, Rey with her yellow saber, Finn and Poe, General Pryde.
 
I really just wanna finish off Finn and Poe from Rise of Skywalker. They had their best looks in that movie. Could use a Kylo Ren with a photo real face print. Do not need Palpatine.
 
I'd be REALLY tempted by the ROTS Palpatine. I really did not like the movie, feel it sank the ST completely, don't want any other figures from it at all... but his design was really cool.
 
I do wonder if we'll see any photoreal redos on the Force Awakens figures later this year. I know the focus is on ROTS for now, but I hope they don't neglect the TFA anniversary like they kinda did with Attack of the Clones (however you may feel about either movie). All those figures, minus maybe Han, since he got a redo in Archive, are in serious need of some modernizations.

I genuinely hope so. I would love to get Poe, Finn, Rey, Kylo, Han, Leia, or Luke with the real scan tech from Force Awakens. But we did get an old man Han with real scan technology through Archives, didn't we?

Nevertheless, I'd love to see some Anniversary Force Awakens figures.

I doubt they would make this figure for an Anniversary line, and hell, they may NEVER make him at this point. But I really want a Sidon Ithano figure from TFA. They made a 3.75" figure of him. But no Black Series.
 
Crap I didn't know rex was coming so soon too I would've waited on my PoL. But I really wanted Shaak Ti and Luminara and Gideon. Well, GT CW Obi Wan is supposed to hit soon too. So I'll have more to ship I'm sure.
 
I buy almost no Star Wars these days but I might be tempted by upgraded faceprinted figures of the main TFA cast. That was the first Star Wars movie I saw in theaters and I have a lot of nostalgia for it and those early SWB figures are looking a bit dated now.
 
Well... the only thing I saw today that I want is the Sandtrooper. It's dumb because I have two I made from the dirty Mandalorian Stormtrooper they did, and two is my limit... but he's got the other Sandtroopr rifle they haven't done at this scale yet!
 
Welp, I hate to be that guy, but that May the 4th livestream was a dud. Think the only ones I'm interested in are the Magnaguard and Galle. How can you do an ROTS anniversary line and not give Anakin and Obi Wan? "This is outrageous! It's not fair!" I'm sure they're coming eventually, but of all the times to announce them, this is it.

Galle is a neat addition, but I really would've preferred we get Bly on the updated body first. I guess you can just do a quick headswap, so no biggy.

Ah, well, it's money saved.
