General Marvel Legends

Let’s just make this clear to Hasbro once and for all.

If the character had a 1974 7-11 Slurpee Cup or a 1974/1975 Marvel Comic Book Heroes sticker, they need a corresponding and/or updated Marvel Legend. That includes Bronze Age versions of:

Falcon
Sub-Mariner
Valkyrie
Night/Ghost/Phantom Rider (That’s one down!)
Triton (Two down!)
Dracula
Beast
Warlock
Yellowjacket
Watcher
Killraven
Shang Chi
Frankenstein’s Monster
Werewolf by Night (Three Down!)
The Living Mummy
Kid Colt
Goliath (Clint Barton)
Sgt. Fury
Howard the Duck
Black Goliath
Bucky
Volstagg

(I had to exclude Conan, King Kull, Red Sonja, and Doc Savage due to licensing issues.)
I loved those cups and the sticker book! I was never able to get them all because there was no way my Mom would let me have that many slurpees but I had quite a few! I whole heartedly recommend This post from Xavion 2025 be sent to Dwight and the team daily!!!

Aww I loved X-Statix.

Make a Shatterstar with the correct number of fingers on each hand please and thank you.
This post made me rush out and find some Liefeld Shatterstar art showing his fingers. A lot of examples were covered by sword hilts (conveniently), but my research shows five fingers. At least when Liefeld drew him. Don't know if he's been retconed since then.

I'm at peace with my X-Force ML team. I was a lucky one that got the Rictor/Domino/legs Cannonball 3 pack, though. I know we're at the stage where we're supposed to say, "OK, now give me all of this, but pinless", but I'm calling it good.

People who regularly mail order figs:

Had a Hasbro QC issue I raised, and as usual, they apologized and sent me a "replacement of equal value".

Now I have four (?!) Fed Ex packages all dispatched. The item in question was a Gamerverse Cap Venom two pack (my second set had duplicate Cap stern head and broken shield clip).

All the packages are 1.3, 1.5, 2.2, and 2.5 pounds.

What the hell could that be? What are the usual weights when you get one or two Marvel Legends in the mail? I never actually pay attention.

Okay I am getting really frustrated with my Ross stores. There are lots of online reports of people finding the Wolverine 2pks, Strange/Wong 2pk and Zemo/Zola 2pk! Plus other Legends. My 3 Ross stores have nothing like that! I would instantly buy Zemo/Zola and Dr. Strange/Wong with no hesitation. Anyone on here find any Marvel Legends stuff at Ross stores that live where they have them?

Your story echoes a lot of us who have never seen anything worthwhile at our stores. I do have a new store just that opened within a decent driving distance in a, um, not so pleasant area. I'm hoping I'll have better luck there as most collector geeks can be skittish. :)

I don't remember where it was, but I read a few people were replacing their Outback Storm heads with something else. If anyone has an Outback head they're not using, I'd be interested in one.

I don't have any advice for you, but I'm excited to see what you get! All the QC issues I've had in recent memories resulted in exact replacements, but every now and then you see a story where someone gets something crazy. A recent reddit post had someone getting GI Joe Classified Serpentor as a replacement for some new release they had an issue with, which is wild - that thing is like $300 on the aftermarket.

I saw that Reddit story and I don't buy it. No way he received a Serpentor, that's a sold out set. I feel like that post was faked.

My Optimus had a broken smoke stack. I was able to fix it myself, but I did reach out anyway.

They sent me a bunch of retired Transformers that were aftermarket three times what I paid for Optimus. Kept me fat on Joes for a while.
