General Marvel Legends

Grizzly is an old ToyBiz figure and Hasbro does like updating the oldies...

And again, that's perfectly fine. X-Force was popular back in the 90's. I get it.

But for me personally, I will consider X-Force complete as soon as Feral gets here. Then I'm going to close the book on it.

But if we're talking THIS Grizzly?

Then by all means YES.

So many cool spidey villains left. Grizzly, first appearance Man-Wolf, Cyclone, Kangaroo, Gibbon, Crime Master, the Enforcers, Will-O'-The-Wisp, Swarm, Smasher, Schemer, Meteor Man (Looter), Stegron, Circus of Crime, Lightmaster, Spot, Carrion ... Spider-Man had one of the best rogue's galleries in comics.

Praise be! They might as well get started on the rest of the MLF while they're at it - they've gotta fight somebody.

I'd buy that Grizzly. The other one, too.
I genuinely want a Forearm figure. But it's one of those ones where it's like... I mostly want it to go with X-Force and I'm really not happy with our options for having an X-Force shelf so I'd probably skip it unless Hasbro does something interesting for that team.

Have they ever actually done an X-Force Marvel Legends wave? If not, then he could be the BAF.
Not a purely X-Force wave I don't think. Though a lot of the 90s X-Force has been made over the years (though several are long in the tooth now and could really use a refresh).

I'd be ....X-TATIC!

Get it? Because that shitty team took over for the actual good team?

But yeah, I'd be pretty damn happy if we got a proper X-Force wave. For a while I thought it was possible. Hasbro seemed big on the Retro Card waves, and X-Force DID have their own themed waves in the 5" days, so it seemed like a natural thing to do sometime between other X-Men waves. But it has yet to materialize.

It was only a few years back that we got the first Shatterstar figure ever in Marvel Legends, and it kind of sucks. It wasn't a great figure by the standards of the year he was released, even. And he's definitely fallen behind the newer stuff. I'll accept that's probably the only ML "1st Appearance" Shatterstar we're ever going to get. But damned I want a really -NICE-, modern-articulation figure of the v2 costume and the X-Force members to go with him, like a new Cable and a better Domino.

I think there's a slim but decent chance they revisit OG Shatterstar. It's a really cool design that could translate into an impressive figure - he's got swords, and a rat tail (sometimes more than one!), and a cool flowing cape. It really could be a great figure if they did it right. I'd probably prefer they do v2 first, though.

I'd also buy X-Force in their matching purple costumes. And X-Statix. Maybe X-Force will show up in some capacity in X-Men '97 - that could be a real game changer. Was that team or anything similar ever convened in the original animated series?

X-Force will never be complete until we have a properly matching team, including v2 Shatterstar.
And a rerelease of Rictor.

I'm still pissy about that set...

Give me Wildside, Forearm, Tempo, Reaper and Thumbelina and I'll be happy.

Poor X-Force. I will forever associate it with the discount store we had in town because it always had pegs of X-Force figures, but rarely the X-Men I was looking for. Grizzly was among them, but not as prolific as old Kane. That store is long gone now and I wouldn’t be surprised if whoever bought it found some Kane figures still hanging out in the warehouse.

He was seemingly popular enough to get a second figure, which was vastly superior to that first one. Maybe Kane is about to experience a surge in popularity? There’s an easter egg referencing him in the new X-Men 97 trailer.
