General Marvel Legends

Lots of horses. Again, I'm just tossing this out there. I could bring it up with the Hasbro team if they're still talking to me after the Warbow fiasco.
They’ve seen, heard, and been called far worse. By the time you see them again, you’ll probably all just have a good chuckle over it.

Just opened Strong Guy, delivered via Amazon.

He’s what you’d expect. I read someone comment about his rubbery hands. I’m thankful for that because lately it’s been tough getting things into some grip hands. I’m always afraid of breaking something. The rubbery fingers flex enough to get the weight bar into his hands, and they grip tightly. The bar itself is NOT bendy. And be careful plugging them into the weights. It takes a fair amount of pressure, which if misdirected, can bend or break the bar or its pegs. I like the yelling expression but love the passive expression. He also has one right hand thumbs up. He’s a minor upgrade. And I remember this BAF wave getting cheap. Surprised this was offered again but it gives me faith that something like Executioner could get a single deluxe release as well.

Lock up the burgers, I bit the bullet and got the Big Lad. I feel like I could use him as a weapon in a pinch, talk about a big, beefy hunk of plastic.

Bah, I'm gonna have to go track down a Pyro and Avalanche now too, aren't I?

Ugh, don’t make me track down a Spiral. When Mystique comes, I was calling my Brotherhood complete (until we get a Unus the Untouchable).

So... anybody else that does both Legends and Classified... am I the only one that thinks the second head that comes with Budo... makes a better Mandarin head than the one in the 2-pack?

The 2-pack version always read a little too Tony Stark to me and theres something a little more sinister in that Budo face that works better for me.

I might be the only one, but I definitely popped the Budo head on the Mandarin body and plan to leave it that way.

I don't have that figure - are you able to share a pic? Curious. :)

Part of Hasbro's plan all along. Get us begging for tiny horses and then, bam, we're all bronies now.
I will never be a Brony.

I was visiting Baltimore with my parents for a weekend and it happened to be the same time as a Bronycon. Many Bronies were staying at the same hotel in the Inner Harbor area. Heading down to the lobby in the elevator (with my 90 year old Dad) we were joined by three people, two carrying a huge sheet cake with My Little Pony decorations. Just as doors were closing the third guy holds the door, hits about 6 or 7 floors, and jumps off laughing at his friends - leaving us and the cake carriers stuck to stop at each floor on the way down.

Friendship is Magic my ass. All Bronies are vile and cruel creatures. (This might be hyperbole)

Granted, the Bronies were not as interesting a crowd as the time I ended up in Pittsburgh when a Furry convention was going on. Not judging their proclivities, but more than a few out of costume certainly had a strong aroma of having been sweaty while wearing layers of synthetic fur that was already soaked in perspiration....especially noticeable in the elevators.

I've been holding out on Strong Guy until seeing reviews and I'm going to have to pass. Ultimately it comes down to his colors. He needs to match the rest of X-Factor, because Strong Guy is never going to be displayed away from X-Factor. While the new Strong Guy's colors are perfectly fine on their own, he's just a shade off from the rest of X-Factor, whereas the BAF Strong Guy is a perfect match. Why would I mess with that? The new heads and the barbells are great, ultimately, for me it comes down to uniformity. Gotta pass.

You found the fabled musky huskies!! : D

Jokes aside, I'm no furry or brony myself, but cons tend to bring out the bad actors within niche subcommunities like those for everybody to bear witness to and suffer within the presence of.

I was a fool to think I'd be passing on the Outback Storm, but the head on mine is very loosey goosey. Should I exchange her or will I find this to be common?
