McFarlane DC Multiverse

I think on the last episode of the show, they said the next one would be a week or two after NYCC and serve as a wrap up of sorts.

Also, I’m sticking with my pet theory that Absolute figures will serve as the debut of Mattel. Don’t get me wrong, have zero inside info here, but just makes so much sense.

High priced imports that are not available in the US would not really factor in here, IMO.

It seems like the only McFarlane figures I'm ever interested in are Platinums or Red Platinums. Extant, Cheetah and maybe Guardian are all wants. Here's hoping they aren't as impossible for me to find as Jade.

I never saw any of Jade, Lt. James Gordon or SA Bizarro. Another poster on this forum was kind enough to pick up a Jade for me. I just broke down and bought Gordon today on ebay for $45 (twice retail) and I'm not too worried about Bizarro because I already have the other two.

I've already posted about this several times, but I ordered this trio 9 different time from Walmart when they said that they were in stock across several months and each time they cancelled on me because they were then out of stock. It was frickin' ridiculous. Each time I'd place the order, one day later it would say it was delayed, I'd get another delayed email a day or two later and then they'd finally cancel it. So stupid, but I kept trying because I wanted the damn figures.

I agree with this. They did the same thing with Metal for McFarlane. DC Collectibles and Mattel both had ample time to get figures out from those comics but didn't, but McF basically had them at launch. I'm expecting that this will be the case with Mattel and Absolute.
