MONDO Masters of the Universe 1/12 and 1/6

He-Man indicates the stand is exclusive, and the long haired head. I could def live without both, especially if it drops the price decently.

Seeing that He-Man is actually $115. Not much better, but thats what I hear.

Oh, these actually have product pages on Mondo's site. He-Man is $115, but the non-exclusive version is $95.

Yeah...

I didn't want to need these, but I do. I don't LOVE the price, but at least it's not 202 dollars plus tariff fees. But Mondo needs to space these things out. I am sure RGB Ray is not far behind.

Yeah, I kinda wish they were doing one-figure waves instead of two. But they're too good for me to skip, and I dont have 20 years of MotU collections behind me to make it less novel.

Gonna have to spread the cost of these and Ray out over the ordering periods, probably. To make myself feel better if nothing else!

So, will there be a standard Clawful without a base/stand like there is standard He-Man?

I may have to get these. I don't know, but man they look good.

Big fuckin' MEH from me. Which is a good thing, I guess, because I did not need to want these. They basically took away the only two things that made me want to buy this figure to begin with; completely dropped the classic sword (the mechanical power sword is a fucking abomination) and made the only head option I liked exclusive to the more expensive version with the big chunk of useless plastic I'll throw in a bin and never look at again.
Hugely disappointing.

Pretty laughable that they said the He-Man line would be less pricey than the Real Ghostbusters line. $6 less if you want the non-exclusive, thanks Mondo, what a savings! The exclusive is MORE than TRGB figures! I think I'm done after He-Man, maybe Skeletor, maybe neither if I'm annoyed enough by this to just blow off this whole line.

I think it's kind of stupid that the exclusive just gives you one extra head and then they clearly just cram the base in there to try and make up the justification of cost. Why not just make all the heads. At least the bigger figures come with some other cool accessories for super fans.

I don't know. Kind of want He-Man. But I also kind of want that Conan from the Blackstone thing. Both are about the same price.

20 bucks for a smallish base and another headsculpt seems laughable.

The figure themselves are fantastic but for $95, I'd expect He-Man to come with lil more than 3 head, 3 pairs of hands and 3 weaspons.

Didn't the original promo render from SDCC over a year ago depict him coming with 4 extra heads? I believe this pic shows more than we're actually getting for MORE than was told on price.

What are we missing, exactly? That picture is a turnaround, so the only thing missing is regular vintage sword. Regular head, angry head, 200x head, King Grayskull head. That's 4. Axe, mechanical sword, shield. All included. Fists, gripping hands, relaxed hands...they're there.

Disapprove the price all you'd like, but no need to make more out of it than need be. They aren't ripping you off if you haven't bought anything yet. I'd get it if you had already paid and they started to remove stuff. But everything with the exception of one thing that they've advertised is there.

The simple adage is always true: Don't like it, don't buy it.

Yeah the price was always going to be pretty high, but being basically the same as the RGB line in price is not really a good thing (at least to me).

Glad I am not really interested in the line and Mattel doing the Origins (Cartoon) based line means if I really want to get some of the characters I have a cheaper option.
