In an April 2023 Turning Point USA event in Salt Lake City, Utah, Kirk said: "I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights."
Can't read because I'm not a member. Is it about her trying to do a prayer in session? https://www.aol.com/articles/house-dems-shout-no-boebert-220932384.html That got shut down as it should be. When was the last time they did a prayer in the chamber for a school shooting where innocent kids were shot and killed? Fuck that.https://www.axios.com/2025/09/11/charlie-kirk-shooting-house-boebert-luna
Good on the Democrats for not goin along with that charade.
This is seriously the bottom line.Again and again I'll say nobody should ever have to die in gunfire. But there is a special kind of karmic balance when someone says we should be prepared to make sacrifices to gun violence (and then becoming one), saying empathy is a mistake (and receiving no empathy from many for his suffering), giving a bullshit answer on mass shootings when he was shot, while sitting under a banner that says prove me wrong. Nobody should ever die of gun violence, but sometimes you play in traffic and you get run over by a car, and that is sad, but it doesn't make you less of a fucking fool.
Hey,.this dude stole our Word of the Day from yesterday. The right is losing its collective mind and we don't even know who the shooter is. If history is any indication, it was another right-wing nutjob with incomprehensible politics.
Trump said this happened because people called Kirk a Nazi. Meanwhile, the right is waiting for an excuse to go full-on Nazi Party.

His kids are 3 and 1, if I understand correctly. They are so young that they might not remember any of the horror of this in the long run. And as heartless as it is to say, I think those children will probably be better off without that monster as a patriarchal authority figure in their lives. He was still a husband, and more importantly, a father. I feel for his kids who are too young to have any true idea why their Dad is dead. Not so much for his wife.
