Cant find it in my messages right now, but a friend had sent a YouTube thing from a comedy channel where they pulled a panel of MAGA people in this summer, and played an audio deepfake of Trump admitting to molesting teen USA contestants, getting naked with them in the dressing room, etc. In the spirit of "comedy", the deepfake went more and more ridiculous and offensive.

But of note, nobody in the panel was put off. They made excuses or hand waved or endorsed. Nobody even said, "Hang on, this has to be fake" or "this is a liberal stunt". Nope. They all just nodded and agreed and then tried to argue why he should be allowed just as a rich cool dude, and what's the problem, he was on TV.

So yeah.
