lol I saw the crunch and but the butterflies. That's a pretty decent update... and I already had a few Extremises....
 
Sigh. Finally a new Mandarin and it might be the most boring version possible... and in a 2-pack with yet another Tony. Alas, I'll still buy it but I'm not even certain that I even prefer this suited version to the Toy Biz Face Off traffic one version. At least that one is visibly interesting.

I'm with you on this. However I am good to wait and see if this goes on sale/clearance because it is an armour I don't particularly care for and the most boring version of Mandarin they could have gone with in the offering. I like the look of both figures, but not enough to pay current full prices and if it is an Amazon exclusive it will go on sale before it even gets in people's hands.
 
I'm not disappointed with this, but this is the Iron Man I do want.

I'm pretty stoked about the updated articulation on Extremis IM - I was very disappointed that the original release was missing full torso articulation and butterflies, especially since the sculpt accommodates those so well.

What's with the alt head for Mandarin with the grey hair?

This precise armor is the one Diamond made a Select of and I loved it. I think a Legends version would be a hit.

I mean yeah….the modular armor, pentagon, classic war machine and the extremis armor are my four favorite iron man suits so I’d love action figure representation of these four

That's a disappointing reveal. Iron Man now has to be in multipacks as well as every single wave?

I do think this means everyone will get their more classic Mandarin within two years - modern first, that's Hasbro! At least he got his ten rings on two of his hands.

The gray-haired head is making me think of a character from the Nasty Boys?
