My stance normally is if I am serious about getting it I back right away and then if something changes that pushes me to cancel I wait until the end just in case something changes my mind. I think the only time I ordered, canceled and then reordered at the very end was the Ecto. That was because I really wanted it but then decided there was no way I could justify it so I went ahead and canceled only to turn around amd sell off a bunch of stuff during the campaign that got it to where I could justify getting it.

Sold off enough stuff during this campaign to cover the costs for this one too. Not sure if I will be able to do that again so this may be the last HasLab I get to do.

Gawd, the USB-C thing alone... I hate putting batteries in toys. That would've nearly hooked me two weeks ago.

I think this is right. What we're seeing in various crowdfunds is probably just a variety of very -different- reasons for backing at the end, but it just looks like it's monolithic because there's so many people doing it.

Fucking seriously. This thing could have backed a week ago with this information. Maybe more.
Also - a paired down HISS painted white? I would buy that instantly.

To be fair, Cobra Commander himself hinted at repainted H.I.S.S. tanks and Stingers in the launch video. I assume Lenny and Emily's hint was just as obscure? I didn't watch the stream.

It's more that CC's comment could be taken as an easter egg rather than a hint, and it took Lenny and Emily pointing out that it was, in fact, actually a hint about upcoming product.
