Marvel Legends Gamerverse

And a Shiva robot...

Jesus yeah. That has been on my want list since 1995. But I’d love for it to come in a box set with Dr Cornelius, Professor Hines, Professor Hines and Apocalypse (since he was believed to be secretly in charge of the Weapon X Project way back in the 90’s before the William Stryker and Jeph Loeb/Romulus reboot nonsense…)

First appearance Iron Man and his variant swirly grey plastic first appearance Iron Man.

I'm not against anyone getting what they want, I just have my preference.
I didn't think that one was swirly, but i'll take a look when i get to my work desk tomorrow.. I think you may have a point with the Golden Avenger on the Retro Card though.

White with blue highlights reads as Silver or shiny metal on Thor's helmet or Silver Surfer. Plus the extra squiggly lines. What things actually are and what they read as are not the same thing. I mean this is semiotics 101. A cat is not the 3 letters C-A-T. Comics multiplies this.

I always thought Moon Knight had a slight silver glimmer to his costume. Not the full on Silver Surfer shine. A sheen; like the Moon.
I think you're STILL missing the point that I don't care what the colors represented.

I want the figures to looks like what the art actually looks like, which is yellow.

Cool. I want you to get figures you want too. Hard to get your point across when you use the expression "this is" and not "I want". Especially since you seem to want them both ways. Since both are legit for different reasons.

I tend to prefer the characters to be depicted in the colors they are SUPPOSED to be wearing, but I don't begrudge folks who prefer them colored as they are in the comics. I don't care for cell shading on figures for the same reason, but I know many love that.
Ditto. One of the reasons I've never been quite happy with the Spider-Man 2099 figures. Never been a black one, and at this point, I doubt there ever will be. Characters established post 2000 (like Miles) are lucky, the newer coloring means there's far less argument on the intended effect by artists.

But yeah, I'm 100% for both versions being sold to make everybody happy. Every extra Iron Man that gets sold pays for tooling one some other character I'd otherwise never get. Put them out ten times if it pays the bills. Comic 4 color, in-world color, cell shaded, video game pixelated... the works. I'll buy one and trust the rest are giving me stuff like Rachel Phoenix down the line.

The Spider-Man 2099 figure from Mafex might be your best bet here. The “blue” paint almost feels like a dusty black. It’s so dark you can barely see the color

I have looked at it and I did consider it. But $120 is just too much for me for a two-tone figure. Just can't do it.

Hope you can get your mind when it’s budget friendly. This is one shelf worthy Miguel fig. Probably the best Spidey 2099 in the classic suit thus far

My Omega Red and War Machine showed up from Walmart on an especially hot day. Both feel excessively gummy around the knees and joints, even after cooling off overnight. Both, I notice tend to fall over. I like the new Omega Red, glad these were $50 instead of $60 though, not sure if it's due to mostly reuse or just Walmart made it so.

Walmart updated me that Ghost Spider should be here tomorrow... so at least they didnt cancel all my collectorcon pre-orders.
