McFarlane DC Multiverse

Just found Platinum Eradicator at Target - this figure is REALLY eyecatching. His cape is really pretty, and I may just pull it off of him and give it to a Marvel character. :)

But his joints - WTH, Todd! Why would they cast all of his joints in baby blue plastic while all the surrounding area is translucent. That looks so bad and cheap.

I swear to God, I hate Wal-Mart, I hate their exclusives.

If it weren't for the generosity of members of this forum and the occasional reasonably priced eBay seller, I think I'd have 1/10th of the Walmart exclusives I legitimately preordered. Jim Gordon is one of them.

This post made me remember I never got a preorder in for Stephanie and Superboy (I was unable to be immediately on the internet when they dropped). I checked bbts after reading this and they are avaliable for po again.

Stephanie was on my "please don't end the line before you make her" list. Really glad she got in under the wire. Of course I won't ship her til Street Fighter Vega processes, too, so I'll be waiting a bit longer.

I actually just got notice that Vega is processing soon.
 
Mr Miracle just showed up. Really well done. The mix of the gold metal parts and the yellow really works. Sells those objects as a different substance to the rest of his costume.
 
How did I miss that Mr. Miracle went up for sale at all? Completely blew by me.

I'm still salty with them canceling my Spider-Man '77. One of the few exclusive figures I REALLY wanted this year, and they just go and nix my order. Such BS. Walmart sucks donkey balls.
 
I feel like the majority of pre-orders that I enter through Walmart end up getting cancelled for no reason. I almost always have to re-order them later.
 
Preorders at Walmart are like the lottery. You buy a ticket but really never assume you'll win. I don't think they as an organization know or care how preorders are supposed to work. It's just an excuse to put a hold on everyone's credit cards for a year.
 
I’ve had mixed results at Wally’s. Found the Wally West Rebirth Flash relatively easy back when it was one of the first retail exclusives. Even before the Gold Labels went on. Found a Knightfall AzBats on the pegs. Got Parallex cancelled, but was quickly delivered from another location. After I found one at retail of course.

But undoubtedly the score of the year was Cyborg Superman (Henshaw), which I found on the pegs in Wal Mart. Not an exclusive of course, but I still felt lucky. I actually got a preorder in for Henshaw at GameStop, which kept getting delayed. So I cancelled it. Bad move in retrospect.

I received the Page Punchers Superboy & Wonder Woman figures from MTS today. I know it's McFarlane logic but why would you make this Superboy without his jacket and glasses and not give Wonder Woman a lasso. At least they have extra hands.
 
I was wondering about the lasso! I found WW the other day and grabbed one in case I decide I want her, but TBD on that.
