Marvel Legends Gamerverse

I think they would have to make a whole new Silver Samurai from the ground up for this kind of articulation to work seamlessly. It would definitely need either a brand new body of his own or at least it should have been modified to fit on the venom mold or that new Captain America torso

Can't help but note u havent acknowledged you were wrong about the boot thing AND the height thing....?

Okay fine. I was wrong. People make incorrect assumptions on the internet all the time there is no reason to point it out.
Perhaps the reason it is being pointed out was the way in which you presented your assumption as fact and refusal to acknowledge when you were proven wrong.. but hey.. what do I know!

The hell are you talking about? I assumed at the time that perhaps the Wolverine figure could still have boot swivels and we didn’t know for sure because even though Unparalleled Universe was messing around with the figure at SDCC, that figure’s feet was glued to a display stand. It’s kind of difficult to move any figure, (especially a well articulated one) that is glued to a display stand at the lower legs because the stand could snap. Also there is already too much tension at the feet. So I was asking people to reserve their judgment until we had these figures in hand because this wasn’t the confirmation that everyone was seeking.

But you had to run your mouth off with a high and mighty attitude from start to finish all because I asked for further clarification. That wasn’t me who had an attitude. You are still being a patronizing ass and I don’t appreciate this kind of bullying. As far as I’m concerned you could stand to be a little more humble yourself.

I have plenty of Wolvies and are fine enough with the old ones, so I doubt I would have bought him regardless, but I really am intrigued about the scale - a planned decision because of his size in the game?

I am leaning towards an error in producing the tooling from the digital render. My theory is the executed height was to be 6" to the tip of the mask 'wings' and they executed it to 6" to the top of the head and didn't have time to redo the tooling. Or didn't notice. Because it looks like the other Wolvies tip of the mask wings line up pretty well with the top of the head of this Wolvie. All of which made a figure about 1/2 and inch or 8% bigger than planned.

Seriously dude I’m a crackpot because I like a specific toy more than you do?

No? I literally never said that. Show me the exact quote where I said 'if you like this figure, you are a crackpot.' I'll wait.

It’s an action figure.
Thanks for this insight. I wasn't sure, but I checked into it after reading your incredible thoughts and found out that you are correct. This is, in fact, an action figure. Glad we sorted that out without any bloodshed.

Big freaking deal if it’s a little on the large side. It’s the same size as the Mafex Wolverine and the astonishing wolvie and I don’t see people here clamoring for those of us who like those figures to have our heads examined… so just quit your bitching and look for something else to play with.
Weird to tell someone to quit bitching while you are, in fact, just bitching. I have no further thoughts on that. It's just weird, yeah?

Anyway.. your point here is moot because your entire post is a straw man. I didn't say this was a bad figure (I said that opposite several times). I didn't say people can't, or shouldn't like it. I didn't even say it isn't accurate to the source (again, I said the opposite more than once, I believe). I said it's lunacy (crackpot lunacy, in fact) to suggest this is a GOOD size for 1:12 Wolverine figures in general. Something even big Mafex fans haven't actually said about those Wolverine figures. Most guys with the hard-love for Mafex Wolverine have admitted that its biggest failing for -Marvel Legends- collectors is the size, but it is OTHERWISE an amazing figure. I agree with that.

This isn't a good size for Wolverine in Marvel Legends, except for this specific instance of a video game figure (which isn't what people are talking about, of course, because the larger narrative is about how this Wolverine stacks up overall and going forward if it's reused). To suggest this size is correct for him would be ridiculous.

In short; YES, I am absolutely calling you a crackpot loony toon if you are willing to sit there and say that a Wolverine that towers over the already slightly too tall Wolverine figures is a 'good size' for the character generally in Marvel Legends. If you're just saying you like the figure.... then.. good for you? I didn't say you shouldn't or that there was anything at all wrong with liking it at any point in any of my posts. So... not sure what you're arguing with except yourself.

Unless you think this is scale-accurate for a 1:12 line. Then I definitely think you're nuts. And wrong. And probably everyone else on this board will think you're wrong, if I had to guess.

Jesus fuck this is clear to pretty everyone by this point... but yeah let's keep on dragging it out.

Oh no. I'm done now. But, petty or not, I'm not cool with being straw-manned like that so I definitely had to point it out. Beyond that. we're all good.

Oh, I just thought of a good use for the Gamerverse Wolverine that will be scale-accurate AND everyone will probably hate. Does everyone remember when Wolverine didn't have a nose?
