NECA - General Thread

Thanks for the heads up, Justice! Snagged me one as well. Had a couple bucks in Shop cash (I always forget I have that app), so it took $5 off. Not bad, especially if she ends up being as limited as it seems she may.

Off topic, I saw on Instagram that the Dark Universe theme park that just opened up has some of the NECA Universal Monsters figures, I think with a different paint deco, but I haven't seen any clear pics. If anyone sees them or snags them, let us know!

I've seen pics here and there, I think on reddit. They seem to be painted in Basil Gogos art colors.

Hopefully those exclusive monsters hang around for a while as it will be a few years before I make the trek to epic universe. It looks amazing though!

Glad Pam is finally happening. I know there were rights issues for a while there so I’m glad they got those cleared up.
 
Got the new Griffin figure. Really like it except I didn't think about the fact that he can't sit down because of the robe overlay. I was looing forward to grabbing some pics in Pale Man's chair.

Anybody know of a safe way to remove glasses from these figures? On one side of the secondary lensed head they didn't glue them in the slot and it's really messing with my OCD. Love that the glasses' rims are reflective by the way. I didn't notice that in the pics.

Both Leatherface figs are up on Target's site now along with a lot of restocks.

I am sooo glad the rumor of them no longer carrying NECA turned out to be false. I've been waiting forever for a restock of the 7" Annabelle. She and Vincent Price came just in time (the last couple days) last week for me to use that toy discount.
 
Thanks for the pics, cmoney! I actually kind of dig those repaints. Don't look to come with any accessories, though, and I'm sure they're no cheaper than a normal figure (maybe even more expensive). But I'll keep an eye on them for sure!

Don't know if it'll apply to everyone, but something to note for folks looking to pick up the Haulathon figures- they let me scan the figures at checkout, but the item name didn't come up, only a bunch of numbers (didn't match the UPC or DPCI, so not entirely sure what it was- just 4 or 5 numbers). The lady still let me get them, but she had to come over and put in her employee number. Just something to be aware of, especially for returns, just in case.

Also, regarding Pee-Wee, all but one of the boxes had the front door flap ripped. The door is taped shut on top and bottom, unlike the regular NECA packaging where you can undo the velcro. It's impossible to check the paint apps, etc. without taking off the tape, so either be super careful removing the tape in-store, or just take a risk. If it's any consolation, none of the ripped Pee-Wees (ouch) had any noticeable paint errors, and the one I got that was still taped shut was perfect as well.
 
I purchased a Shredder and The Count at Target today and they show up in my purchase history, though since their pages aren't active, clicking on either gives me an "Oops" message. I'm guessing they'll be fine once it goes live later, but I also didn't run into any issues checking out. The printer was out of paper though so I can't confirm what would have been on my paper receipt.

What a weird decision by Neca. They have to know we aren't buying these things blind in stores, at their prices.
 
Ordered Pamela. That $11 shipping stings to an old skinflint like myself, but I wasn't taking the chance on missing this figure. It better be very limited! LOL! Thanks again for the heads-up.
 
So has anyone seen or seen reports of the initial Haulathon shipper being restocked, or of additional product coming in after that first week? All we've had is the one shipper, and the toon Shredder was gone before I saw it, with nothing at all added to stock since.

Shipper is still in the aisle, but nearly empty except for the Mirage Shredder and Leo. Maybe a couple Beetlejuice left too. No restocks that I’ve seen.
