I totally understand where y'all are coming from, but I completely disagree. We may only have wave 1, but the reveals and the characters we've seen make this line feel like it's a property already loaded with characters, and I'm excited for all of them. I just really love monsters. lol

Don't misunderstand me; it's all very cool and it's fun to look at. Lots of fun. I just can't get excited about it, because I find that I just can't get excited for stuff that's so far out on the horizon that it doesn't even feel real. I can't care that much about stuff that isn't even going to be in my hands until my daughter is in college, you know?
And it's not just toys. Video game teaser reveals for some game that's coming out late 2027 and it's like... why? Why do I need to know about this right now?

HasLab type stuff is about the most I can manage to get excited for now. Being a big corporation, I know that the year delivery time is accurate and even then.. a year out is a long time. Even THAT can be a strain to get excited about lately.

I just can't get excited about it, because I find that I just can't get excited for stuff that's so far out on the horizon that it doesn't even feel real.

This so much. I am like this with so much stuff, not just toys.... vacations, holidays, birthdays, festivals, etc.
I have too many toys and things going on right now to dedicate any energy to future stuff.
