Operation Monster Force

One question I have is whether or not we're getting a Ms. Claus incoming, and if she's going to match the OMF figures with the sort of busty midriff style. My hope is no, but then I feel like the Santa line is running out of gas year over year and I don't know if they want to do a frumpy old lady body that they're unlikely to use again.
They could use it for some sort of Big Bad Wolf figure. lol

Chatsworth the Sasquatch is now up on BBTS. They’re advertising to preorder now to lock in pricing. He’ll be at least $10 more later and he includes any tariff surcharges if you lock in now. $70 for a donut loving Sasquatch didn’t seem awful to me compared to the rest of the line’s pricing.

Wasn't there complaints about how light the exposed skin was with Chatsworth? They definitely addressed that. Looks pretty good and I put an order before the price jumps. Like Buttmunch said, the $70 price tag seems reasonable considering the cost of the other figures in the line.

But he's not just a donut-loving Sasquatch — they're all donut loving, as far as I know — he's a gatling gun-toting, karaoke-singing sasquatch.

I know I shouldn’t need Chatsworth after pre-ordering the a LooseCollector Sasquatch and Yeti, but here I am… pre-ordering to lock in my early bird pricing.

The three of them gonna look great next to Creatureplica Yeti and that Jurassic World Edmondasaurus (or whatever it’s called) I pretend is a Nessie!

I remember them initially showing off Chatsworth, which used the Memory toys warrior bear body. Looks like they made a new one for Chatsworth. He's neat, but I'm not sure if I want him. The whole Monster Squad/Creature Commandos vibe going on with this line is cool. Just not sure if I want to go there in terms of collecting.

Put in an order for Chatsworth as well. Wasn’t 100% sure if I was going to bite, but that price isn’t bad at all for what it is.

From what it sounds like on facebook, they’re expecting season 0, season 2, and rereleases of season 1 to finish production in the next couple weeks and then it’ll be on the container ship on its way to BBTS

I had to stop looking at him. Like a plastic Jezabel just tempting me, I CANT JUMP HEART FIRST INTO ANOTHER LINE MAN!!

I had no intention of getting Chatsworth... but then i looked it over a few more times and pulled the trigger. I just really like how he turned out...

I'm still having such a hard time getting hyped for this line despite there being a lot of designs I really like. I think it's reveal fatigue. I'm just... tired, guys. Every toy company, media company, and game company now seems to want to tell me what they expect me to buy from them five years from now. I love reveals, don't get me wrong. But just.. how do I get excited for something that's coming out in like early 2027? That's too far away.
Especially when the list of 'coming eventually' items is orders of magnitude longer than the 'stuff we've already released' list.

I've said before that this line looks super cool. I just want them to slow down on showing new stuff and actually make something.

I lurv me some Monster Force, but I'm having trouble getting excited about Chatsworth. Not even sure what it's really missing. There's something about the minimalism of "just" a sasquatch with "just" a mini-gun (and donuts) that doesn't integrate well for me. Maybe if they also gave him an ill-fitting tactical vest, or an alternate head with some reading glasses. I don't know. It's unfair to call it plain, but the rest of the line is werewolf rocket soldiers, Frankenstein cowboys and mind-controlled Nazis, so that's my bar.

I do like how they use the figure description to tease out the expanding line. "Seeing" Miranda Seeke and Red Riding Hood in action, so to speak, is cool, and I think we all know who the reinforcements from the Vatican are.

I think what made FMF's long-term reveals different from others is how they spent the intervening years engaging with fans, talking about ideas, and generally being more behind the scenes than other companies. You have to be more plugged in than usual to not feel detached from a 3 year production timeline, but at the end of the day I appreciated a company willing to say "it may not work out, but here's what we're thinking now" and just having a discussion.

I don't have any numbers to back it up, but I feel like that's dialed back quite a bit with the transition to Big Bad Workshop. Maybe it's the reluctance of corporations to talk about ideas that customers my use against them if they don't come to fruition, but without that creator interaction, it's just the "this will be so cool in four years" that you described.

LOL... FMF and their business model reminds me alot of my custom workbench. Its fun and interesting thinking up characters to make, penciling out recipes, acquiring base body parts... Its harder and more time consuming to actually finish the custom figures. So my 'projects to do' list grows much faster than my 'projects completed' list.

Well, I will be the voice of optimism here and say that, technically speaking, these lines are now falling under the "Big Bad Workshop" umbrella, so maybe, hopefully with the backing of BBTS, things become a little more focused and expedited.
