Jada Toys Invincible

The Invincible thing is more than a rumor, but it's also far from confirmed. Skybound is licensing Invincible to new partners, including Jada.

The $64,000 question is whether Jada's making action figures or cars. I'm guessing it's action figures. Time will tell.

That is exactly what I’m worried about. None of the Invincible figure offerings so far have been worth the plastic they were made with. I don’t want animated style or even page-accurate figures, since the art is so stylized. I want ML-compatible scale, articulation, paint and sculpting. I might buckle at three out of four. It’s been my dream line since the book came out. C’mon, Jada. Don’t let me down.

Marvel Toys/Toy Biz was going to do a two pack with Invincible and Omni-Man. I think those probably would have been the closest to what you would have wanted--had they not folded, of course.

That’s the first I’ve ever heard of that. I was with them all the way through the revealed prototypes of LCBH wave three and never caught a whiff of Invincible figures. Are there any other details or anything about that?

Oh God, I honestly couldn't even tell you who told me, it was so long ago. It may have even been Jesse, for all I know. I had a few buddies who were fabricators and did some prototypes for TB, and I remember hearing that, a Wesley and Fox from Wanted, a few others that never came to pass or were ever officially announced.

It was that information and that line actually was what got me into reading those comics, but no, who told me or details--lost in the ether that is my mind. Lol

Hell, I might even be misremembering/misheard being told "We are looking into that" for "We are doing that".

I was always gentle with MSWord around, but they were horrendous. Some Toy Biz Marvel Legends look better.

I find horrendous a bit harsh. I'm not going to say I don't hope Jada's are better, but they looked decent on a shelf together. I think they were hampered by wanting to be animation accurate which maybe lended toward thinner limbs. Paint chips and fragility were legit concerns though.

I would love Invincible figures, but is that really something someone would call a "beloved franchise"?

I think of evergreen shit with that descriptor. TMNT. Muppets. Super Mario.

Invincible? Popular? Absolutely. Successful? Evident!

"Beloved"?

Lol am I wrong or am I wrong?

I'd argue Walking Dead is more successful & popular, and I wouldn't call it "beloved," lol.
Everyone I know that likes Walking Dead media has some sort of beef with it and hate consumes it after a certain point.

Everyone I know that likes Invincible in any media adores it for any number of reasons.

All anecdotal, but just based on what I see with the younger nerds around me, the Amazon cartoon alone could be qualified as beloved.

I don't even know why I'm going to bat for this franchise, I too just want Resident Evil.
