I was actually looking to see if we could get a Justice Society roster going and... eh. A fair showing but nothing complete. I"m actually going to cave and get movie Cyclone just so there's some better representation and she's so cheap to pick up.

My ideal Justice league is the Morrison era mixed in with a little of the Brad Melzer run so I mix and match characters from those eras. JSA is mostly a fusion of All Star Comics and the Geoff Johns run. The Superman shelf is dedicated to mostly iconic characters and looks. My Batman figures are more diverse and are separated into two halves. One half is the “quintessential” display which focuses on ideal characters and looks which encompasses everything from the Bronze Age to the 2000’s, and the other half is strictly Year One/ Legends of the Dark Knight since I’ve always had a soft spot for that title and era and it’s one of the few singular books that I’ve read all the way through. As you can imagine though there is not a ton of figures in this display outside of Batman, James Gordon, Alfred, a young Robin and a small smattering of rogues gallery figures. I’m trying to find a good selection of 1:10 scale cops and mobsters to really fill out this era. Especially since most of the villains from LoTDK were one offs but their absences still leave for some pretty conspicuous gaps

Not sure about price, but if you don’t mind very little articulation, the DC Direct Alex Ross Cyclone may work well with Multiverse.

I usually weigh articulation over costume accuracy but that really is the Cyclone look I'm looking for.

I agree with @scottg10. While I have the McFarlane Cyclone from the Black Adam movie, I still display the DCD version. The articulation on it does really, really suck, but it's a beautiful figure. Very fragile though, also.

The movie one from McF is still in the package and I've never even bothered opening it.

Todd's the only toymaker with balls enough to actually make a naked Manhattan.

There's your Red Platinum variant right there. Or I suppose in this case, Blue Platinum. The highly sought after "floppy wang variant", made of a hard silicone instead of a soft, rubbery plastic.

The Batman / Spawn Platinum release is one of my favorite Batman figures. I love the neo-classic look, and I’m a fan of the plastic capes. Plus the head-sculpt is probably my favorite Batman head in the line. The colors are spot on and I like the way his cape drapes over his shoulders. Great looking figure.

The only drawback is the cape being over his shoulders somewhat limits his upper arm articulation, but it’s not that bad. Still an awesome figure. He’s pretty much my go-to Batman at the moment.

I actually completely missed there was a wired cape Superman other than Reeves! I'll have to track that one down - I really prefer a classic, red-trunks Superman with a wired cape. I'm really trying to find the Mafex Hush Superman, but at Todd scale. That figure would be perfect if it were at heroic scale.

Batman really is a tough one. I was looking through what I have and I really don't know what my favorite look is. If forced to choose I'd say Dark blue and gray - the phygital one that came with a Bruce Wayne unmasked head is one of my favorites but the blue is so bright. I do like a wired cape on him too if I can find one but I somehow haven't bought a wired cape Batman without a lighter color palette yet. Gonna be funny if my ultimate display involves me buying new versions of two characters I already have a ton of, but the rest of the lineup are all ones I could be one-and-done about.

This is a customized version (shoulders/neck and head transplanted from another figure, and a wired cape from GPSLOT on eBay), but this is my "classic" Supes.

While I used to be a huge fan of the classic blues and gray costumes that Batman wore, lately I have to admit I’m really taking a shine to the muted costumes that Batman wore in the late 90’s. The Norm Breyfogle Batman, the Batman/Spawn 2-pack release, the recent Troika and variant NML figures are some of my favorites. And Kudos to Todd for recognizing that there has been a real deficit of these suits represented in action figure form. This has been a nice change of pace.

Went through all the Batman figures I own trying to find one that could be my main/definitive one and went down a bit of a rabbit hole becuse I don't own one that just nails it, though I have more than a handful I really, really like. I think until I pick one up with a wired cape the Phygital one might be my favorite "vanilla" Batman, though the blue being too bright that led me down the rabbit hole of discovering that the Clayface three-pack on Amazon has the same figure in black and gray; I don't have a Kate Kane; I don't have Clayface; and the set is discounted, so I'm thinking I might pick it up. Any thoughts on Clayface? The promo photos make him look repulsive but is he fun to pose?

Went through all the Batman figures I own trying to find one that could be my main/definitive one and went down a bit of a rabbit hole becuse I don't own one that just nails it, though I have more than a handful I really, really like. Cowardly Lot is a close second, but I don't like the gritted teeth, and I think he's too tall. I can't even do part swapping between the two because it's not just the height issue, everything scales proportionally and I'm not satisfied with the mix.

The Amazon three pack is fantastic, however, that is the same Batman as Lot. So for me he's too big, at least when I put him with Diana and Silver Age Supes.

Troika is also great, but not my ideal portrait, and I can't swap heads because it went back to the neck being one big piece. Hush, same issue. And they're too tall.


Re Clayface: he's a brick, but he looks cool and it does fill out that team of the era.
