And Bubastis would be a statue, just a hunk of sculpted plastic with no articulation. In a two pack, months later, with an Ozymandias with a screaming head. You asked, but it would be:
Nite Owl 1
Nite Owl 2 Red Platinum Target
Manhattan (translucent with eyes and nerves)
Manhattan regular (Wal Mart Platinum because Blue)
Comedian in costume from flashbacks
Rorschach
Rorschach red platinum shadow drop with no mask
Rorschach in prison suit
Nite Owl 2 and Ozymandias two pack months later
For me the only answer for Superman is the digital wave version. He's got the sculpt, the color, the wired cape.....AND he's got the height. He's just a tiny bit taller than Wonder Woman.but who are your favorite Superman / Batman versions to put into a lineup? I have Action Comics 1000 Superman and he's definitely my favorite, but he's a little small? Kinda want the Trinity to look natural together.
I actually completely missed there was a wired cape Superman other than Reeves! I'll have to track that one down - I really prefer a classic, red-trunks Superman with a wired cape. I'm really trying to find the Mafex Hush Superman, but at Todd scale. That figure would be perfect if it were at heroic scale. For me the only answer for Superman is the digital wave version. Jury is still out on Batman. He's made so many that are ALMOST there for me and he will make many more before the end. It would help if I could settle on which style I'm actually looking for. I know I'd prefer wired cape. Do I want to stick with blue and grey? Black and grey? Yellow oval or no? Then you have to worry about height relative to Supes and WW (because scale in this line is all over the place). I'd prefer not to kit bash because I'm spending money on two, three, maybe four figures to make ONE, then everything else goes to the fodder bin.....that doesn't feel like a "win" for me. If I'm patient will THE Batman for me come along in the next year? Probably.
I concur on Superman. My favorite Batman surprises me, as I was going to pass on him. Cowardly Lot (so far) is my favorite mainstream Batman. He looked so good when I saw him, I couldn’t pass him up.
That was on my radar but ultimately the bat symbol was a bit too stylized for me.I concur on Superman. My favorite Batman surprises me, as I was going to pass on him. Cowardly Lot (so far) is my favorite mainstream Batman. He looked so good when I saw him, I couldn’t pass him up.
Fleshier Superman, Kingdom Come Superman, and lion head Superman also have the wired cape with the red trunks. They're all on the taller buck that the digital Superman is on. One of those may be an option for you.I actually completely missed there was a wired cape Superman other than Reeves! Oof. So painful to read, even if it's theoretical. You know that's exactly how it would be.You asked, but it would be:

Question for you all - what's your favorite, scales best together combination of Justice League figures?
I was just eyeballing the Fleischer and Kingdom Come Supes. Kingdom Come is one of my all-time favorite representations of him but I wasn't really buying McFarlane when that one came out.Fleshier Superman, Kingdom Come Superman, and lion head Superman also have the wired cape with the red trunks.
