Agreed. I have generally been pretty lucky with most retailer exclusives, but this feels like best practice. Not super interested in it, but I could see it making its way into my cart somehow.

IIRC the last Spider-Man wave did a similar thing with the Spirit Spider being a Wal-Mart exclusive, yeah? Seems they're trending this way. Stuff that completionists will want, but everyone else can skip comfortably.

I know they're functionally useless as action figures but I really would pick up a ton of Hellfire Gala figures if they started making those. Spidey was very low on the list of costumes I was interested from that theme but maybe this opens the door.

I'd probably grab some, but the majority would require a boatload of new and unique tooling so I bet this is one of the few we'd ever get.

You could probably fudge a sort of formal event though with some variants. The Wolverine/Fixit two-pack gives you a start for a fancy dress dinner shelf.

The first Hellfire Gala figure they make and it’s not even a mutant? I’d get this to put with Spiderverse figures but this is not a priority.
