Star Wars Black Series

Had an actual good experience with Pulse customer service this week - my Bacara figure showed up broken and they shipped out a replacement without asking me to ship the broken one back. Any time I don't have to deal with shipping I'm happy. (Also, really liked the figure, just wish his right arm didn't snap off!)

Meanwhile, Savage Oppress just arrived and I'm about to crack him open. They really can't make enough characters from the animated shows, IMO. I'll take anyone.
 
So far this year, I have no BS preorders. Legends and Classified really have overshadowed this line for me, but my shortened wishlist is made up of figures I REALLY want.
 
I've scaled waaaaay back on Black Series, though I feel like they've also scaled back on releases in general. It definitely lags behind most of my other collecting habits these days.
 
Last week I got Bacara, and the Commando Droid. Bacara is great (doesn't hurt he's my favorite commander), now I just need a couple of Galactic Marines for him. The Droid is nice too, but wish he had a bit more torso articulation.
 
I know they keep reusing that Commando body over and over again, but it's a GREAT base body, so they've got me a few times with paint variations. The urban commando look is great. I keep looking at the two pack as like a buddy cop set, a trooper and his sidekick target droid.

Bacara is excellent too - glad Pulse was willing to replace the broken figure cos I was really impressed with him if only his arm had stayed attached to his body.

Now that you mention it, it has been a solid year - I think I'm so used to getting clobbered by the occasional seven-figure Marvel wave having a figure or two from this line pop up at a time has been chill. I did cave and get the Shadows two pack because I loved the old POTF Armored Luke and just got shipping notification for it. I think Shaak-Ti and Liminara are the two I want most this year though out of everyone announced.
 
Is that pack an HP exclusive? I just tried to order it and of course the HP website is still broken. Can't believe it's been MONTHS and Hasbro hasn't fixed their own store.
 
Savage Opress just arrived this week from EE. So glad to have him. Some great characters coming out in the BS recently. Really need to have a figure opening day soon!
 
Savage is really, really good. Sebulba looks like a masterpiece in Landspeeder Luke's review. Luminara Unduli looks quite strong in Luke's review as well, and Shaak Ti looks and hopefully will be great as well once someone gets her in-hand.
 
Savage is a FANTASTIC figure. I wasn't sure on him but they breathed real life into a character who has really only ever appeared in the very stylized cartoon format. There's a real catlike, lean menace to him.
 
I finally picked up the new ANH Leia. Did anyone care enough to give her flesh colored legs? I have a handful of the older versions but the hips and legs are considerably bigger. You can't swap at the ball joint or at the thigh swivel. I don't know if the hip joint pops anyways because the plastic seems very hard with heat not having much of an effect.
I stumbled into a Reddit post discussing the possibility of Holdo's upper legs with Leia's shins and feet. Not sure how that worked out. My Ollie's had tons of Holdo at one point. Trying to decide if I should drop $8 on an Amazon order for figure parts I'm not sure will work.
