I am definitely picking up No Man's Land. I've been waiting for the blue/grey yellow oval chest emblem costume to get a wired cape! I also looked up the new costume. I have always loved the blue and grey design as that is the Batman of my childhood. I quit buying comics a couple years ago but I might try the new series.
 
I still read quite a few DC’s. Never read much Fraction, but he comes highly recommended from friends.

This run of Batman has been nothing but heavy hitter writers and A/B+ artists. If DC is restarting the series for Fraction, he must have something huge in mind for the Bat Family. The only Bat writer I didn’t care for this go round was Tynion. Ironic since I loved his Detective run from Rebirth.
 
I'm slowing down on this line overall, but Walmart must've found a missing box of Jim Gordon figures - just got an alert he's back in stock and grabbed one. I wish it didn't default to that third-party shipping nonsense - I don't actually need it in an hour, Walmart, next week through conventional shipping will do, thanks.
 
Via Instagram, new Platinums revealed from overseas distributors:

*Troika Batman is actually blue. Black is the Platinum
*New 52 Superboy
*Yellow and Green Batman/Red Platinums
 
Not entirely unexpected. It’s Todd. Gotta throw the curveball once in a while.

I was planning on passing on Troika anyway. NML is more my speed. Only thing there that grabbed me was the New 52 Superboy. Shit story but a pretty cool look. Speaking of New 52 I’d like to see before Todd closes out is the New 52 Morrison Superman. Tee shirt, jeans, and home made cape. I’m pretty sure this is achievable with existing parts.
 
Seems I jumped the gun a bit. I also misremembered parts of the McFarlane Toys TV presentation. NML Batman has a black Platinum version. Troika seems to be a standard standalone figure. Steve Trevor is Red Platinum.

Ohhhhhh well that’s different. Naturally I want the black one more (and Batman wore black in NML, not blue and certainly no trunks) but I love the blue/grey version (it’s the cross-sell art from the 2000s!) and I’ll get both.
Still hate Todd’s awful “90s-teen collector” vibe and I won’t miss it.
 
Yeahhhhh I saw the pictures. Wow the upcoming stuff looks amazing. I am definitely all-in, and I’m gonna have to hunt down multiples of the Platinum NML Batman. Gorgeous stuff. Troika Bats is like the most goth Batman ever and I neeeeeeeeed him.
 
Man... this line remains the most frustrating. I desperately WANT to buy Jade and Lionhead Superman and can't find the slightest trace of them. They show off these other figures I think I'll want but I have no confidence I'll find them either.

I hit up a Target today and was the same stuff thats been there - 4 Hourman, 2 Nightmaster and one Connor Hawke as well as one red costume animated Batman.

At Wal Mart it was just the Armored Green Lantern and some Batman iterations I didn't bother identifying.

Gamestop was nothing new or interesting either.
 
That Jim Gordon I ordered on Wednesday has been delayed twice and went from preparing to placed status. Guessing it should have never been listed in the first place. Even when I feel like I got lucky with this line it's a struggle.
 
BAH. Just saw on a McFarlane Toys group I'm in on Facebook that NML Batman's cape isn't wired. He he has it in hand overseas. That bums me out. I've gotten use to it so disappointing when it doesn't happen.
