Marvel Legends Gamerverse

My wife got me that figure when it came out and I can't see myself ever getting rid of it. I'd love more hand options, but honestly it's practically a perfect rendition of the character. Totally agree that I can't see myself ever needing another version (at least until domestic action figures change so much that we look at Hasbro MLs from today the way we look at ToyBiz MLs from 2005).
War Machine could have used forearm swivels. They would have vastly improved his ability to aim his forearm guns. And there was an assembly seam there, so it really wouldn't have been much of an engineering effort to include them.

I might mod this war machine in include a pair of arm cannons and a secondary shoulder canon if there are still enough modular components between the two versions

Pre-ordered Garganto-Gorath. Just too cool not to. I'll probably end up putting him in the MCU display, to be honest, even if he's not quite as spiky as the movie version. Glad he didn't end up costing an arm and a leg- more like an eye and some tentacles.

Hasbro’s deluxe War Machine is great! But I will still enthusiastically buy figures of any War Machine armor. I cannot wait to get this Gamerverse version which has a lot of new parts.

I’d love to get an updated figure of War Machine’s cyborg armor with all the energy weapons from The Initiative.

Gargantos looks great, and that’s a good price. Happy to preorder him.

Are you talking about the MCU Mark III repaint armor? I'd buy it but I'd rather get a redo of the Initiative era armor first.

Also the rumours of Cloak & Dagger makes me suspicious that they could be a Rivals version which would be very welcomed!

ANY armor?

Well, you could order it and cancel it. That way you would both order it AND not drop that much on it!
We have all these huge problems in the world and you are wasting your problem solving talents here on the little stuff. Think bigger!

Shuma is still up for sale on pretty much all of the fan channel sites. He’s been my barometer for how well Savage Land Rogue/Shanna/Sauron exclusive might actually be sought after and I gotta say these results are surprising. Considering for how long he has been on the wish lists of so many fwooshers (like Savage Land Rogue) I assumed he would be an immediate hit and would sell out instantly. But clearly that’s not the case. I think if I had any inclination to get this set after all, my biggest hurdle would be the air fare to San Diego, had I any intention to physically be at SDCC to pick up that set.

I mean I think the lack of immediate sell out was easily predictable on Gargantos. He's big, so he's a display space eater in a collection that gets more and more crowded every month.

Second he's a minor character in the grand Marvel scheme of things. Sure he was a factor in the video game but how many comic appearances have you read with him (it?)? And its not a great match for movie only collectors.

Third is the price. While its actually less expensive than I thought it would be, $70 is still a big ask - especially in a time when all of this product is going to drop at once.

You combine all those factors together and I don't think its that surprising at all that it wasn't an instant sell out.
