I mean that’s fair but they did shred like y were made of tinsel. I bought a pair in 7th grade and they didn’t even make it to 8th grade. They were so baggy at the bottom I kept stepping on the cuffs and before I knew it, the bottoms of my pants look like I had wandered into an alligator pond.

Anyway sorry for the tangent

Oh, they wre basically paper. No argument there. Ever rip the cuff off one leg badly enough you caught your OTHER foot in the loop? I did. How did I survive childhood?

That’s cheaper than I expected.

. . . which is good, because I’d love to grab more than one of this absolute bucket-list figure tomorrow.

I've got zero problem with Shuma-Gargantos being $70. That's on the lower range of what I thought he might be, and looks worth every penny. Excited to get an order in.

For me, War Machine is a one-and-done character. I think that first release knocked it out of the park, won't need another one ever.
My wife got me that figure when it came out and I can't see myself ever getting rid of it. I'd love more hand options, but honestly it's practically a perfect rendition of the character. Totally agree that I can't see myself ever needing another version (at least until domestic action figures change so much that we look at Hasbro MLs from today the way we look at ToyBiz MLs from 2005).

This is why I was a Lip Service Stretch Fuckin' Twill kind of guy.

Yeah the only saving grace when it came to those pants was that they had the extra little snap in compartment for chain wallets or pagers. Other than that they were an awful brand

Poor Felicia's like a Twizzler.
Could this be a summer heat thing? Every few years, I feel like we collectively decide that Hasbro has beaten the gummy figure accusations only for them to come back around. I haven't had a gummy Legends figure in quite a while, though.

I think the legs were summer heat, because they're not bad a day or two later. The arms are just really thin and brittle-feeling - maybe I got a dud but they feel like completely different material. Maybe I got a dud though - the rest of the wave is perfect.

Pinless joints were supposed to be part of the solution to gummy joints because they use ABS plastic (hard plastic) for the knees and elbows and do injection molding around them. New X-Force Warpath is gummy to me, because he uses the old pinned joints.

I have two Felicias. Posin' her up at my desk right now.

Yours sounds like a dud. I can hold her hand and pose the entire arm from elbow to shoulder from that point without bend or any fragility. The arms are a different material, but no worse than any other Legend in reach.

Might buy a second one if I can find one. This one even has some weird thing going on with limited movement in her shoulder. Maybe I just got a lemon of a figure.

Definitely happens. My original Lady Jaye had fused elbows to the level the joint may not have been there. I think that was like one of their first gos with pinless and double joints? But the next one and then the retros were fine.

The GI Joe bicep issue some figures had. Usually it's biceps twisting off, for me.

My original Firestar had knees that tore through out of the box. Replaced it, no issues. When my QC misses, it misses.

I think it's worth getting another Felicia and comparing.

Oh, the single figure I had the worst luck with was that Lady Jaye. I had to swap out five figures before I got one with two working elbows and working hip articulation. (Seeing a trend that I seem to bad luck into bad QC specifically on my favorite female characters.)
