Let me help you out. You do want it. It's a great figure. I was on the fence, then saw it in person. I passed on it and then all I could think was " My God, what have you done" I went back and bought it.

I opened it, and it just looks great and feels great in hand. A very solid, stoic looking bad ass Batman figure.

We'll be dead one day Sgt.

Live now and die with this in your collection. Have yourself a New 52 Batman.

Lol. I have really been struggling with my decision. You have now pushed me over the top. I have to wait until next payday now but I am getting it. I have seen plenty of him at Gamestop so shouldn't been hard to get it. You're right Super Camel we will be dead one day and I hear the Grim Reapers foot steps chasing me every birthday now that I hit my sixties! I am doing great but still I know less is ahead than behind me and I tell my kids to savor every minute of every day. That line made the decision for me! Lol. Thanks!

if you can find him at target or walmart, he will be at least $2 less than gamestop.... just FYI
ive seen him at both. as well as the golden age batman for $10 less than gamestop
 
For what it's worth, while I didn't actually end up buying him, I did see the New 52 Batman at Target yesterday, and I gotta say, he does look pretty darn good in person. I dig that Capullo style too, the kinda mix of realism and more exaggerated comic/cartoony. I'm sure he'd look pretty good next to the McFarlane Talon from a few years back.
 
Later on down the line I may look for a heavier weight of cape because you can see the stand logo through it, although I do have a lamp there.

Otherwise look at that drape. When you let the lighting and shadows do the work, I think the light grey does match some of the comics. He just looks cool.

NGL, I completely forgot I'd ordered Harley til we got that update from Todd. I mean I will be happy to have a new HQ, but I know I'm really super checked out on the line now if I forgot I spent that money.

Got Jack Knight from Amazon a few days ago. Cool to have him since we may never get him again, but I wish he either had removeable goggles or an alt head, but this line is always so bare-bones.

I didn't realize that I wished Larfleeze came with open hands til I looked at the art on the back of the box and now I wish he could hunch over and jealously hoard his lantern.
 
Huh; I checked all my folders and I never did get that update email. I suppose as long as it still ships to me, that's all that matters. I'm looking forward to the set, honestly. Not that I love the Suicide Squad movie, but I dig that outfit for Harley, especially compared to the other 2 Margot Robbie Harleys we have, and it's nice to have more live action rep (though, with each subsequent release, it makes the omissions sting all the more).

I get that it's a cost saving measure to re-use the tuxedo body for Leto Joker, but I really wish we could've gotten one of the other looks; this one never screamed "Joker" to me (then again, I can't say anything about Leto's portrayal did). I found the old cane that came with the Mattel Multiverse figure while digging through some old accessories the other day, and I think I have a spare machine gun I can paint gold, so I may try to cobble together one of the other looks.
 
Okay everyone posting about the new new 52 Batman..I cry UNCLE! I am going to buy it already. Lol. Seriously though this why I love this place. Getting different perspectives from others and the occasional pictures to support it. Alt's picture really pushed me over the edge with that pose and the draping of the cape.
