McFarlane DC Multiverse

McFarlane added a couple more dates:

6/29/26 and 6/30/26. Items unknown.

Some news has to break soon. Waiting until SDCC seems implausible.

My last McFarlane preorder showed up today. Not even DC. Savage Dragon. Pretty awesome looking to be honest. But like Hellboy, height is OK. Proportions and scale look somewhat off with other 7” scale figures. Shadowhawk blends in pretty seamlessly.

But that’s not what this post is about. I don’t recall a time recently when I didn’t have any preorders for McFarlane saved in my email inbox. There’s been no announcements. No leaked pictures from Asian distributors. Just rumors. Nothing confirmed. I’m also pretty much where I want to be right now with McFarlane so there’s nothing to even hunt for to catch up. The last new non repaint/non vault figures were announced (and have since shipped) two months ago on 4/22/26. OMAC, Eclipso, and Bronze Tiger. What’s going on? Todd packing up early? If so, why are there still distribution leaks? This is getting frustrating. And boring Todd. You never wanna be boring. I thought both yesterday and today would have announced something. Nope.

To recap:

*No McFarlane TV show.

*No event announcements.

*No pictures from Asia.

*Only leaks and rumors with the pop culture Super Bowl still five weeks out.

Sorry for the rant, but I just want to get on with it.

Yes, but we all know that if the rumored list of figures are legit then it's going to be an absolute slam of product for the next 4-5 months. It's the spacing that is the problem now. All of these are likely to hit basically all at once. If you remember last year, he got everything out for the year by October (for Batman Day?) and then Nov/Dec were silent. If it's that way this year too then these next four months are going to insane! Again assuming that all of the leaked lists are true and some probably aren't.

I’d like to think Todd would try to avoid an avalanche of product in a handful of months. I’m also starting to think that a lot of the rumors are for Vault figures.

Since there are pre-orders coming up next week, we might see something this weekend. Hopefully some are DC.
That’s what I keep thinking. We have seven preorder dates up to the Fourth of July weekend. One is Marvel statues, another are Anime figures. Five are unknown. Plus Super Powers for June 25th. Odds are something is coming up. Five weeks to San Diego seems like an unreasonable amount of time to wait for new reveals.

I haven't followed the Absolute stuff too much. But I saw a picture of Absolute Batgirl the other day. They call her The Bat I think it said. But she had on a brown trench coat and had a shotgun.

She looked like a mix of Batgirl meets Knightmare Batman meets Punisher.

I'll be honest........it was pretty cool.

Not how I think of Batgirl, but these alternate Universes sometimes provide very impressive alternate versions of these beloved characters. And this was one of them.

I'm excited for that Absolute Cassandra Cain book, too. She looks awesome from the pic I saw. I'm excited to see the Absolute Lady Shiva design.

I know folks have typed things out on this thread, but if anyone wants a comprehensive list of all things rumored for McFarlane DC, this YouTuber made a video covering what seems to be all of it. It's a 30-minute video, but you can kind of just fast-forward and skim through. But it's all there.

Even the Absolute Trinity and Absolute Deathstroke.

Ab Bat is very cool. Give it a spin.

So the next question is whether that is the deluxe or standard issue of Absolute Batman? Assuming that it's actually legit, of course.
