Don't know if this kind of comment has a better home.. just out here to say I'm really excited for Weapon X. I love Barry Windsor-Smith. My only complaint is that I wish that Logan head had slightly bigger hair.

They're gonna get me to rebuy Weapon X - again - with that head. I didn't preorder him because I don't think he'll be too tough to get - but he looks great.

Yeah the unhelmeted head was a HUGE draw for me! Gonna have to put some blue dry brushing on it.
 
I didn't even pay attention to this Weapon X. I just assumed it was a straight up re-release of the older one. Any other differences?

Pinless. New claws. Open hand options. Both heads are different. All the secondary overlays are different.

Me too. Wolvie is a favorite of mine and I am VERY excited about this figure. I just wish they had gone with a more silvery color for the metallic elements instead of that shitty grey Hasbro fucking creams their pants for.

Well shit. I was in such a hurry to order Psylocke I didn't even look into him. I don't think he will be hard to find in stores later though.

Yeah, I mean... I always worry that something like this that I really want is going to be hard to find. And that would, of course, probably be good for the brand overall. But I doubt yet another Wolverine, especially just a better version of a previous figure, is going to be super difficult to get. That being said, it's a Target exclusive in the US so.. maybe? I don't know how those are for you guys.
 
I'm not too concerned about missing out on him. I've never been a Wolverine guy. I do find it funny that they will put a figure of a hairy naked man wearing nothing but some metal boxes and a leather banana hammock on the pegs of Target but our Titania has to have "added paint details" to make her appropriate.

Hypocritical? Yes. Entirely understandable? Also yes. The US, in particular, has long associated the female form with sin, and the male form with idealized masculinity. Not telling you anything you don't know, of course. But it's definitely not new. Women's bodies are only for sexy sex times and looking at them is ONLY to make your pee pee hard. Looking at naked swol dudes is just there to make you realize how manly and awesome we all are. Nothing sexual at all about a style of underwear that can barely contain your balls.

I have a friend who only collects Ka-Zar, Weapon X, Conan, He-Man, WWE dudes and the like purely for the gaze of it all.

Best part to me is they also include Dreadnoks because of the whole mustache and leather aesthetic AND now the Constructicons, because I showed mine and they thought that the black helmets were actually meant to emulate mullets for '80s construction workers who are also "very sexy".

I'm amused by this as well and also how they'll look at some busty comic woman and decide they need to cover her up in some way, but then someone at Hasbro looked at Vanessa Kirby in her Fantastic Four costume and demanded of their sculptor "More boobs, please."
