1/12 Diorama/Terrain/Props/Vehicles

No season 4 convertible mode? Psshhh, no buy!!

( 🥸 )

I have a feeling that KITT is going to be spendy, but I might go in on one. I'm in the minority, but Super Pursuit Mode is what actually excites me the most about it because I don't think we've ever been able to buy one that had SPM except for a model kit. I have several KITT cars in various sizes (almost done building the Fanhome one as well), but none of them do SPM.
Hot Wheels did a SPM version of KITT but that is the only official one I have seen.

Wow, it looks awesome. this does interest me. I bet all those gimmicks on the car will boost up that price though.
Yeah I am not to excited by the little back and forth by Ace and Barry about the price. The only thing they seemed to confirm was that it will be less than $500US (someone asked a question about that number).

I'm just not sure where it will end up because with Ace I have faith that he can do something like this for a "reasonable" price. Yet with Factory Entertainment I have the opposite belief. They don't seem to have too much product in the price range of what Ramen Toy does for equivalent scale.

On top of that we are talking about a 1/12 scale vehicle with lights, sounds, licensing for both the IP and the actors, an action figure and transforming parts (and a remote control). I will be surprised if this comes in under $300US.

Yes, I will in fact order the synthiest, most 80s thing you have to offer me.

Sorry but This is my all time favorite show.

I’ve wanted a 1/12 KITT since Ramen toy was a thing. The interior looks great and I like the light up gimmicks. Etc

That said, This thing is just objectively bad.
It’s distracting how unfaithful to the source material this looks.

Especially for 400.00 usd.

The old Kenner voice car from 1983 is actually more accurate. (So is the Michael knight figure)

I still have the voice car and an actual KITT replica made from a 1985 trans am back in 2002.

The hood bulge on this toy is just plopped on top like a weird second piece of material…the lines on the car are all wrong…the front end is complete garbage to accommodate the shitty SPM gimmicks.

We’re not talking about batman or spiderman here…

It seems like a niche product of a niche intellectual property aimed at 50 year old men with $400.00 to flush down the drain.

How many of us are there?

Why not do a “stripped down” more accurate version with none of the SPM garbage that costs less?

If they did,
I’d buy KITT ,KARR, KARR with grey paint job,

Battle damaged KITT, all white “primer” KITT too.

Im probably the biggest KR fan on this board.

As it is, I’m out.

I am legit excited about this in-depth KITT analysis from a place of long-term Knight Rider fandom. Fair points, all.

Hopefully they do a better job on the car from OutRun, which they're going to make if they've received any of my very nearly non-threatening letters.

OutRun is an acknowledged classic with an all-timer game soundtrack that provokes absolutely zero haunting or destabilizing questions about werecar physiology.

Wait wait wait. Idea for a Turbo Teen revival: kid who rotted himself on looksmaxxing content can turn into a car and now he has like three different kinds of body dysmorphia.

It’s Turbo Teen!
For the four of us that are TT fans(!)
They can make a slightly vague red 80’s sports car. Rubber tires chrome rims etc.

Magnetic removable disturbing teen face.
Maybe include mid transformation non-articulate Brett.

It would have to include the dog for sure.

They could always re-color the car to hell and get their moneys worth from the mold.

That said, I’d get the Outrun car.

Spy-hunter, too while we’re doing this.

Got the email from BBTS that the deluxe DioRamen sewer is inbound any time now.

That's going to be a hit with the extra tariff charges thanks to Cheetolini.

THE WRAITH!!!!! Starring a young Charlie Sheen.

I LOVED that movie for the concept pace car they used, and it's still a fave guilty pleasure watch.

My #1 time machine use, because nothing could be more important than this, is sneaking into the casting process and getting Kyle MacLachlan for the lead instead. Otherwise, love that movie.

Come to think of it, Brandon Lee would be great too. Depends on whether you want a brooding Crow kind of lead or an odder, more ethereal Hidden kind of lead.
