Dropping this here so we have somewhere to talk about it that isn't the Jada SF thread. (Though, let's be real, SF talk all is gonna blend together for a while.)

52toys has previously made figures of Captain Commando, Final Fight, and Tenchi wo Kurau at 1/18 scale, but now they're getting into the 1/12 game starting with Alien, Street Fighter 6, and Blade of the Guardians. Quite pleased with how they look!

It's funny to me that Chun-li doesn't have a face, because those early faces they showed for her really put me off of this line.
 
It bums me out a bit because they were supposed to have their own original 1/12 cyberpunk robot line a while back that never seemed to materialize. I suppose licensed work is more guaranteed return. I'll keep an eye on these. I have a couple of their products and generally like them. No idea how that'll translate to full on figures but not opposed to giving them a shot.
 
Completely missed it back at the start of the month, but seems 52toys also announced 1/12 of Final Fight's Sodom as well, alongside the Guy they announced. Good for him. Got two 1/12 figures before Cody or even Poison got just one! Perhaps Storm Arena and Jada will make him soon as well? Endless Sodom is coming!!

lol, I forgot when SOTA's Sodom came out and Fwoosh was full of pictures where he was threatening to "Sodomize" other figures.

So wait, is that Captain Commando they showed 1/12? I thought someone said it was 1/6 and it got me real bummed out. I'd love for him to be 6". I remember really liking the old ToyBiz version as a kid.

Does anyone know where this will be available for pre-order? The only places that seem to be selling it don't have a final price and require a down payment . Does 5k toys stuff ever show up at places like entertainment earth or big bad toy store?

Well, 5K is a retailer.

*52Toys* is who is making these.

And they are currently up for preorder at 5K, as well as Bombusbee.

BigBad does have some 52Toys items in, but they have not put these up yet that I can see.

I meant 52 toys. Does anyone know if the sites that have it for pre-order now are reputable? I'm not super comfortable putting a down payment on a pre order for an item that doesn't seem to have a consistent final price yet and the shipping cost on those sites is probably also a factor. I personally would rather hold out hope that this reaches more mainstream e-tailers as North America was listed as one of the regions it would be sold in according to the announcement.

Yes, both of them are super reputable. And both give you what your full price will be on the item order pages.
