Very true, though I feel like Trevor had brought up the possibility of a reissue in interviews previously.
 
I think they said when the first one went into production that there would be a second run at some point, now that I think about it.
 
Are there any figures that have been solicited or teased over the years but haven’t been released? As in they’re not going to be released.

I saw the huge Android Krang and the teaser Sewer Lair Kitchen, but wasn’t sure if there were others. I see a Ninja Splinter on the checklist that hasn’t been released.

For the arcade line, it looks like there’s a blue Foot Soldier, Traag, and Granitor that haven’t been released.

There was a toon-ified Last Ronin hidden in the street diorama a couple of years ago at Comic Con that has never seen the light of day. It could have just been a gag, but I would assume there was some intent to go forward with it at some point. That "some point" just hasn't come or never will.
 
That was before the actual Last Ronin line came out wasn't it? Maybe it was a way to gauge interest. People started asking about it so they decided to go with a full-blown Ultimates line? I know that once I got into the Last Ronin line, it killed any desire I may have had to have him in the toon style.
 
It might have been the same Comic Con the full Last Ronin line was shown off. Also possible that the Playmates Last Ronin figure that was sort of in the style of the old line killed it initially and now they don't see it as vital to getting out.

Thanks for the heads up! I've wanted a few more and didn't expect them to be back in stock. There is a limit of 2 which is probably a good thing in my case.

That happened a few weeks ago with some of the Pizza Club Turtles. Not sure if it’s stuff actually shipping out, though.

No, I didn’t order them.

I did order the Foot Soldier yesterday, though. I didn’t realize it was usually out of stock. They’ve been on Amazon pretty regularly.

I really haven't even thought about looking on Amazon. It is so ingrained in my brain that cartoon Turtles=Target that I didn't even think about resellers. Looks like they are pretty pricey there right now though, but I know that fluctuates depending on the seller.
 
The Foot Soldier did end up shipping from Target. Should be here on Friday.

I hope some more of the older stuff randomly goes up for sale on Target’s site.

On another note, I ordered the street scene from NECA weeks ago and they still haven’t shipped. Not sure if I should be concerned.
