I know he made sure to mention that he comes with more accessories too. I welcome anything like that in this line. After watching a few walkthroughs I've noticed that Trevor made sure to point out that Leatherhead is the first ultimate for the Archie line so he'll be packaged differently and probably more expensive. He's also said in all of the interviews I've seen that Leatherhead completes the Mutanimals so that's probably an indication that Ninjara is not in the plans.
Ninjara was never on the Mutanimals, so maybe there’s still a chance. After watching a few walkthroughs I've noticed that Trevor made sure to point out that Leatherhead is the first ultimate for the Archie line so he'll be packaged differently and probably more expensive. It's probably a case of nobody knows for sure, but I would guess there are many opinions at NECA. Even if Mattel isn't much of an obstacle, it's still likely their license is up too and everyone wants more money.Well, everyone that I've spoken with is telling me different things out of the NECA booth regarding the license.
Some are saying they aren't talking about what's going on with the license.
Some are saying that they were told more news later.
Some are saying things are fine.
I don't know, man. Pretty paltry showing, if you ask me. I guess SDCC and NYCC will be the true tests on whether there is a future with NECA and TMNT for 2027 or beyond.
Also kind of feels like they're trying to ease out of it and fill that void with other properties that tickle that nostalgia bone--Disney, Muppets, Sesame Street, McDonald's...
Yeah, no Ninjara would be the biggest miss of the Archie line given how major a character she was. The OT stuff isn't ideal but can be (sorta) used for basic turtles, Bebop, Rocksteady, even Splinter if the line ends early but Ninjara would leave a massive void.Ninjara was never on the Mutanimals, so maybe there’s still a chance.
