My point wasn't that this is a UK spec ops guy. It was that this was probably always intended to just be a generic 'special forces guy.' Neither 'American' nor 'British' in design.
 
I feel like they gotta do something crazier with it. We need a small dinosaur riding Roadblock around. That guy is a human tank.
 
Whenever the discussion turns to realistic portrayals of guns or military gear I am so grateful I'm absolutely like, gun-blind. I've literally dedicated five minutes of my life to real-life gun knowledge and all of that was on a film set for a one scene in a role playing a spy who got killed after two lines.

Always check to make sure the firearm is cleared when handling. Looking down the barrel like a spyglass to be extra sure may affect cognitive function however.
 
I turn my rifles upside-down and use a small peening hammer to bang on the buttstock. I also put a lot of lithium grease in the receiver so nothing gets stuck in there. You really want the area near the ejection port, in particular, to be extra slippery.

Cosign. I don't like when 4HM reuses erstwhile unique character heads with every colorway, and I'm not a fan of reusing Crystal Ball's dire head here.

I'm pretty sure that's an exact quote from the script, so I'm not sure what you're trying to say.
 
I'm not a huge gun person but I go on the Internet firearm database a bunch to see what weapons they use in particular movies so I can attempt to get 3D printed versions for my figures...

Guns are like a lot of things where I don't really want yo get immersed but I like knowing a little here and there and getting things correct.

For some reason, I'm able to give a pass to a lot of stupid gun things more than I can do with other stuff. It's not a lack of knowledge, though. I actually know a fair bit about guns. I helped choose/design toy guns for a couple of years (tertiary 'helped' here), and I love military history, so I've researched guns like.. quite a lot. But for whatever reason, it doesn't really bug me too much if a gun is 'wrong' unless it's like.. REALLY wrong. And even then, it kinda depends.

But I get WAY fucking butthurt about swords being wrong. Like immediately and vitriolically.
