It’s Saturday night. So you know where your children are? No? Me either. Here’s some Toys, Tunes and Beer, Holiday Edition. I grabbed this Daredevil when I got Feral, mostly in hopes of using the head for a season 1/3 Netflix Daredevil custom I’m (still) working on. I don’t think it’ll work…but who knows. The figure itself is pretty nice. I’m pretty sure it’s all new sculpt. I like the bagginess of the sweat suit, it gives Matt some bulkiness he normally isn’t shown with. I’m not sure where he fits in my collection, but I do like the figure over all.
Fidens was my drink of choice this Thanksgiving, especially this one. Turkeys in the grain bin is a nice double IPA from those guys in Albany, with Citra, Simcoe, and Comet (they’re outta this world!). A lot of citrus from the Citra and Comet, with some grassy/piney flavor from the Simcoe. I’d say it’s easy drinking, but at 8% a few of these will only make finding the floor easy. That reminds me, I’m a professional don’t try this at home.
I have such a love/hate relationship with
@blink-182 . I appreciate where they’ve gotten in their career, but this album is the Blink I know and love. Songs about break ups, ends of relationships, spying on your crush from a tree, and Lando Calrissian. I may have sang “Dammit” at a karaoke bar in my early 20s, and poorly at that. This album being back a lot of memories and feelings of the time of my life. I certainly have some things I’m not too proud of, but when you look back it’s all just a big learning curve anyways. I guess that’s kinda how Blink may look at it all. Good times, but now you’ve moved on to bigger and better things.
Overall ratings. Figure 4.25:5. Beer 4.25:5. Album 4.75:5.
