Third Party Figures

Ugh, I keep telling myself I’m not going to buy the Not-Cammy and Not-Chun-Li since I have the reissue RomankeyXCowl woman, Fury Toys woman, the LADo Pocket Lady and both versions of Nottaa Woman on pre-order I don’t need two more blank bodies for posing… especially since I have the Jada (and eventually Storm Arena) Chun-Li and Cammy to pose around!

But… so fancy! Look at those action shots! Arrrrgh! Must be strong!

So I ended up canceling Frost Knight because early reviews were bad.

I just received d12 Toranaga and am extremely impressed. The figure feels great and the paint is on point. The armor pieces are die cast to my surprise (I thought it was only the blades) which adds a nice heft to it. Really glad I kept my order

I need someone to bounce this off of: I'm starting a mythology shelf. I was recently inspired by Heracles in Hades II (spoiler tagged below, just in case).

I was thinking that the upcoming Xesray Studio Branthoc would make the perfect stand-in. I need to do something about the Nemean lion's pelt versus Branthoc's bear pelt, but some yellow paint might suffice. It's pretty fucking close though, right?

It certainly seems like a very good starting base if nothing else.

Having spent a couple of hours most nights for the last month rinsing the Underworld, I would really love it if someone were to do a Hades II line. A Melinoe, Nemesis, Artemis, Icarus, and - of frickin' course - the Queen of the Seas, the Diva of the Depths, the incomparable Scylla would all be Day One for me.

Eris can get in the bin, mind.
 
I think you're on the right track. Some yellow and brown tinted paint with a wash on it. Maybe a sculpted or soft goods mane to fudge/blur the feline vs ursine proportions and features.

I think he gets you a very long way there out of the box. It's all in the accessories and custom decor that will push him over.

Ah, I'm waiting on 5K for this one. I thought Morna was really solid and Anthonys Customs uploaded his video a few hours ago and gave this one a really good review. He said his was missing the extra torso.
 
Re: the extra torso piece - I reported it missing (even though I wasn't all that fussed about it anyway) and naturally found it half an hour later in a tiny black bag on the hallway floor. If anyone's even slightly enthusiastic opening the package, it's liable to go flying out somewhere and is so small you might not even notice if your eyesight is less than great these days.

The new "Darknight Vigilante" (Dark Knight Returns Batman) from Chaos Studio is fantastic! An outstanding piece and it pairs exceptionally well with their "National Defender" Superman. Here's my review:
