Depends on how you count things like Lego Minifigs and Minimates, but I'm over 10K figures and hit capacity in my basement. Just started listing stuff on eBay for the first time this week.
I had that happen the other day when I was going through my McFarlane DC Multiverse bin and found two Connor Kent Supeboys. What the hell? I must have bought the second one not realizing that I had already bought the first.Anyone else ever had the situation where you know your had a certain figure... and your trying to find it in your display... and when you dont find it right off you think damn... did I get rid of it??? then you decide to go and buy it again (at a premium price) only to find it afterwards either in the display or in a box?
I have easily more than 1200 figures just in 1/12th scale... probably a couple hundred 1/6th scale...I've never had that happen. How many figures do you guys own? I've got like 350 and I've never lost track of one.
man... I used to have 1k plus records... and a few k CDs... I went through and got rid everything except rare stuff that you really can't get digitally... and/or anything with just a one hit wonder. that pared it down pretty good.Discogs and CLZ Comics certainly helped the double buying in those areas. Took me like 3 years to enter my record collection into Discogs. I still make mistakes with CLZ but they are definitely less.
Ahhh crap... yeah... I wasn't thinking about those! just triple my number because those things are small and take up less space... but somehow the overall display is the same size as 1/12th! Once you go down the hole of army building in SW... your numbers go up fast!Depends on how you count things like Lego Minifigs and Minimates, but I'm over 10K figures and hit capacity in my basement. I also have no idea what this meansa-f.com's owner is the originator of "froosh lomos"
I remember the bit about the froosh coming from someone's typo.. forgot about the lomos bit. froosh was fun... it was forum w/in a forum. If you guys remember the paid forum on Fwoosh, called Froosh, that came from a typo that Adrian (I believe that's the name of the guy who owned action-figure.com) made regarding Fwoosh, after a Toy Fair or SDCC or something. I forget what the "lomos" meant, but he didn't seem to actually know the name of the site, or was trolling it, or was high or something when he typed it. I don't know if there are enough of us here who would remember any of this. But I'm not second guessing myself. I just don't have much more info to verify the story.
I just didn’t feel like paying. The rest of the message board was plenty. I don’t know what went on in Froosh; I imagine a bunch of shit talking.Heheh. I always felt like I wasn’t cool enough to join froosh.
Honestly: same.just didn’t feel like paying
