Yeah I have enough enough hesitance with any 3D printed small things like miniatures. I don't want to risk it with weapons. I actually like the Hasbro gummy ones, I just straighten them out with the old hot and cold.

I have a few Gridiron weapons. They are reasonably tough, on par with anything else you'd find on the market honestly. Somewhere between Hasbro Joe guns and Vala's. They're just too damn expensive. I can't speak to the vehicles or anything larger, though. The guns are just fine.

Like we’ve kinda alluded to, there were some legitimate reasons legal action was involved.

I mean, I'll be frank, what little I know of Hisstank threads makes me think it's almost certain both these men are massive tools and I don't really care who wins the pissing contest. Like I said upstream, I'm annoyed I have to know about it at all.

Bob's fallout with that Kenny dumbass is pretty well known at least going back to when they had that weird drunken run-in and Kenny felt the need to post about it, with video. They're both idiots. Bob is still a massive cunt, and suing a dude you're having a petty, goofy little beef with because neither of you can be adults for ten seconds is just -more- of Bob being Bob. It's not a defense of Kenny. It's an indictment against Mr. Vala ever being able to be the adult in the room.

I would love that, but I would also love Hasbro to kind of ... .hammer down the weapon quality a little first. They've got some pretty nice ones, and some real shit ones. Knowing Hasbro, it would be weapon packs full of that wonky thing Leatherneck comes with in primer grey.

When we were kids they had that little mail order catalog that always had stuff in it. I would like to see that brought back.

That's how I got my Sea Ray.

I remember they did that one movie Widow that came with the deluxe stand and explosions. And that stand is still available for purchase on pulse. But it felt to me like that was the start of them trying something, it didn't work like they wanted it, and they just moved on without any adjusting. As they tend to do.

I have some 3d printed guns for my star wars figures and they hold up fairly well, depending on the design. Small pieces and thin gun barrels can break fairly easy. But most of the ones I get don't have thin parts to break. But I do have quite a few, and I wouldn't have these guns otherwise cause Hasbro never made them. I'd buy more Marauder guns since they're injection molded I believe, but they only have a few styles and I own them all already, at least the ones I wanted. I even have multiples of most of their guns. Its just so limited in selection and the attachments don't like to stay on or break if you're not careful cause of how small the pegs are. I glue most of them on. They're fairly cheap too which is awesome. The variety is lacking. The Vala pistols may be thin, but most of the other guns are really good, and getting as many as you do in each of those sets, for $12, is awesome. Not to mention grenades and knives and belts. I have alot of the accessory packs for the guns and gear. The figures are... fine... but I don't have many. And I'm gonna keep it that way. They're nothing special, and most of them are generic soldier guy. So I only have a couple of the interesting ones. And the Legend of the White Dragon figures, cause, JDF. But until someone else makes better or similar weapons at a cheap enough price point I'll still get Valas.

I also did buy from Gridiron, I think. I bought some gold pistoleros for my movie Deadpool. I'm pretty sure it was Gridiron. Anyway, they were 3d printed and the gold paint just keeps wearing off every time I move them. Eventually, it'll just be gone. I tried sealing the grips for the pistols to keep the paint from rubbing off there, and it just turned the gold black almost. So... I don't think I will be buying from them anymore. Not to mention they were fuckin expensive just for the 2 guns. I probably could've saved the money and just painted the ones that came with him and it would look better then these... They're also too big. They don't fit in his hands or holsters without stretching them significantly. So as of now, I don't really like Gridiron and I won't be buying from them again unless the quality goes up and the price goes down, and when does that ever happen?

Actually, the one defense I'll offer on 'when does that ever happen' is --- if Gridiron gets to a point where he can afford ABS Injection and tooling. Despite the set-up being fairly expensive, it usually brings prices down because the 3D printing is also crazy expensive on its own. That's happened a bit in the 3rd Party 'LEGO compatible' community. Little 3D printed LEGO sword is 5 or 6 bucks, and when they eventually get tooling together and start selling them as ABS plastic the same sword is a dollar.

So it could happen. Although with the current relationship I'd almost expect those items to be coming from BBWS rather than from Gridiron directly.

Maurder’s 1/12 stuff is closer to actual 1/12 than Hasbro’s “1/12” so they run small.

Honestly with Marauder, I’d kinda just wait to see if they ever actually do a six inch line of their own since they did the six inch Skeletron figures
