@Beamish If there's a third wave, it'd be more like 2027/2028 in terms of release. Unless Hasbro is surprising us with some single figure releases like they did with Iceman, I don't see a third wave coming out so quickly, even though I would welcome it with open arms. I could see Wave 3 being more like red-and-blue classic costume Spider-Man or Wolverine with different paint and black claws, Dr. Doom, Volcana or Magneto, She-Hulk or Spider-Woman, an X-Man like Cyclops or Storm, and Mr. Fantastic. That said, I would completely welcome new figures for Electro, Hobgoblin, Kang, Baron Zemo (he was from the Mattel wave, he counts), Spider-Woman, Thing, Cyclops, Thor, Rogue and the Hulk. Wasp is unlikely, but I could see them doing that green-and-purple suit for her eventually. I still think a "Secret Wars" wish list thread from
@Beamish would be fun to see who fans would vote for and who would make the cut for its poll. Aside from Jack of Hearts, of course.
@Lucid Silverback I like the way you think with the "Secret Wars" waves, but I highly doubt they'd give us that many villains for a "Secret Wars" wave, as cool as it would be. I especially love the ideas for the Lizard and a non-translucent Human Torch. Mr. Fantastic needs bendable wire "stretched" accessories again, provided they're as long as the bendable wire tentacles of the animated Doc Ock figure. As I've said, the Hulk, Thor, Doc Ock with bendy wire tentacles, classic Dr. Doom, classic red-and-blue Spider-Man, Mr. Fantastic, Thing (classic trunks AND black suit versions) Cyclops, classic Lizard, Volcana, Magneto, and even Wasp are all must-buys for me. Electro, Hobgoblin (with a glider that stays on his feet and an actual classic mask head sculpt this time, please, Hasbro) and the Wrecking Crew all would be too. I'd also love to see Colossus and Nightcrawler on the Retro box art too. There are enough characters from "Secret Wars" for Hasbro to pick from and made into Retro carded figures for a good long while, if they keep releasing figures as good as the first two waves.
