This skin tone looks lighter than mine, and lighter than most reviews I have seen. I don't know if it is the lighting, or if there has been a variant in the skin tone.

Just watched it looks really good… but also I kindof wish it wasn’t that big. Will be hard to find clothes in the right scale I think
 
I did it! I shipped my POL last night and then Hildr processed this morning. I love BBTS, I truly don't have any real complaints about them these days, but the way this happens to so many of us all the time is HILARIOUS to me. (Honestly their shipping is so cheap comparatively I don't mine, I'll probably just have them ship Hildr right now separately, but man, like clockwork, isn't it?)
 
Lol. I know that's what'll happen after I ship mine. Hildr is in my PoL now, but still not all the things I was waiting on. And if I ship it now, lemme tell you, they'll come in tomorrow lol.

I watched a couple reviews and so far it seems like no one has had issues with her ankles yet. But just make sure you heat them up before you try to mess with them anyway. They even recommend it in the packaging. If anyone does have ankle breakage issues please lemme know. It'll probably be at least 2 weeks or longer before I get mine.

Thanks for the warning about the ankles. I've got a few more "first quarter" items coming up but I might might just say eff it and ship her right away. They just charged me so she's good to go. I had five or six figures in the pile for a few weeks waiting that I shipped yesterday.

I kind of wonder if they ever laugh at us when this happens. "Oops, Doc just shipped stuff yesterday and something new just arrived, he's gonna be MAD"

Since the Fury looks to scale bigger on D Amazing's video, and knowing how clothes fit on what I do have, seems this is the way.
 
While those clothes don't look bad, why would anyone want a plaid skirt for a Viking warrior? Or Roman gladiators? I'd rather get some sort of new armor pieces or more casual clothes but ones that fit the time period.

If you're someone like Articluated Ninja on YouTube, you don't want ANY clothes and will have them all bent over grabbing themselves or other female figures, and making the rest of the figure collecting community look like a bunch of perv creeps.
 
As I sit here watching reviews of Hildr which are NOT convincing me to not ship her immediately from BBTS - anyone have the Roman soldiers? BBTS has the three soldiers marked down a decent amount but they look a bit... thick in the photos.

I do not, but thought a long time about getting them. I watched a couple of reviews on them last year and something about them just turned me away. It's been a while but I think they kind of limited in their movement with all the gear on and without it they were kind of plain.

I gotta give him credit on his Insta's aesthetic. Last I had checked (years ago now) he had booty spread across the top three pins.

I don't have these specific ones, but this holds true for the entire line and is what always holds it back for me.
