At the rate this administration is going, we'll reach the real apocalypse before his figure is released.
 
I'm a comic style figure collector and really annoyed how much better (comic suggesting) the new White Queen body looks with the boxset head on it. Dang; sorta wanted my $35 for the old figure. Now it just collects dust. Do I leave the 97 or boxset head on it? the Jean and Cyclops animation style ones don't bother me in my comic displace. Nor really does the animated Emma face. I just like the less cartooney hair sculpt on the old one.

Cable arrived today and he is Cable.

That is to say, I got exactly what I expected to get. The design is an impediment to his arm ROM, but this is Marvel Legends so I didn't expect them to do anything ground-breaking to deal with that. The downside is that he looks better with his small gun than with his big gun. But it's Cable, so like... big gun all day, right?

So he's not fun to pose, but I like him on the shelf and he can get at least a couple of good poses, so I'm satisfied. Glad I got him on sale. Posing Cable got me to repose Civvie Logan as well and boy.. every time I touch that figure it's a reminder of why I got rid of every Wolverine I owned that used these lower legs. I just do not like them. Not sure if it's just me, but these legs seem to make for the worst-posing, worst-standing Wolverines Hasbro has maybe ever done. Ick.
 
I'm afraid that of all the offbeat costumes we're likely to get from Season 2 / Wave 4, baseball hat Cable will somehow end up on my list. Hopefully tuxedo Gambit is at least one of them.
 
Yeah. I have Rogue stuck into the top of the Sentinel's hip joint so it looks like she's flying through, but I'd replace her instantly with tuxedo Gambit - but I need his bo staff to be translucent pink (how have we never gotten this version?) and I need him to come with a piece of Sentinel coil. Obviously, he won't come impaled, so if it has to wrap around him so be it, but I'd also like that in translucent pink. Really make the moment.

A Genosha three-pack of Tuxedo Gambit, fancy Rogue (kinda would prefer her battle-damaged) and fancy Magneto would be an idea I'd buy. Throw in Artie/Leech for more heartbreak.
 
I'm almost violently angry that the 'bikes and dudes' line got shit-canned before we got tuxedo Remy on a bike. Goddamn criminal is what it is.
