X-Men '97

I'm glad I didn't order the 2 packs. I don't have the money for them right now. But at some point I'm pretty sure I would want to pick them up if I can. Hasbro upping the price though, tariff bullshit I guess. I'll wait, or miss out. I don't need them.

He was covered in green goo in that shot, and later in the trailer you see Morph wearing Logan's Team X bodysuit and apparently working with Deathstrike and Sabretooth, whom I would assume would have to be Sinister's clones to not be ripping him apart in that instance. I don't know that Sinister ever cloned Deathstrike, but I know Archangel, Psylocke and Beast fought a clone of Sabretooth that he made from his Marauder gene batch in the comics.

I hope it's not instantaneous rebonding of the adamantium for the actual Logan, his run of comics directly after he lost it would make for a great solo storyline perhaps better than what they did with Storm's "LifeDeath" homage subplot.
Wolverine was able to get along with both Sabretooth and Deathstrike for stretches in the original series so I wouldn't read too much into that. Plus we know Omega Red is in Season 2 and I could easily see them putting their differences aside to tackle that threat, but with X-Men I suppose you can't dismiss the possibility of clones or some other shenanigans coming into play. Sabretooth did work for Sinister in the X-Men '97 prequel comic.

Perhaps the real X-Men are the friends we made along the way?

From memory, I believe it was a 4-issue limited run that has probably been made into a trade paperback by now. I have those four issues somewhere, but probably couldn't locate them quickly now. I don't buy a lot of comics these days, but bought those.

I think some of the Pulse 2 packs are getting ready to ship...

I should have read the last page - yes, Cyclops/Jean and Wolverine/Storm are coming...

Prequel comic? I need to look into this now.

Yeah, four issues from last summer. Nothing spectacular. It covers some stuff that happened offscreen in the show (Jean announcing her pregnancy, Storm getting her haircut, Magneto receiving the will) and introduces the 97 version of the Marauders.

I got the ship notice for Cyke/Jean now too. I forgot that I ordered three of this set. I ordered two of Storm/Wolvie. At the time, they were 49.99 each, and that's what I got charged. However, I just noticed they're listed at 57.99 now, which I'm so glad I avoided. Bummed that the Inhumans packs are priced there, and probably higher for Medusa/Gorgon.

I think everything is going up. $30 Legends are here, hopefully not forever, but things rarely go back down after they go up.

You think after people are willing to pay the $30 Hasbro is just gonna go "ok well, prices can go down again."? They're gonna keep the prices the same and then just pocket the excess that was for tariffs at the beginning.

They're already going to see sales drop. That has to be happening right now. Plenty of people here have reconsidered preorders with these $5-$8-$10 price jumps. When no one buys them, they will reconsider pricing if the economic situation allows for it, or they'll fade away themselves. This ain't sustainable.
