X-Men '97

Wasn't there a leak that said Season 2 they'd have their Morrison era costumes? If that is true, I'd think it likely that is what we'll see in Wave 4.
I would be so stoked to see Morrison X-Men in ML. This is clearly the best shot those looks are ever going to have.

Idk if I believe she’s in the green outfit, as Dwight and Dan have said many times the figures in wave 4 have the looks from season 2. Plus how would leaks know what outfit she’s in when the original Chinese source for these just had the names?

These are likely all season 2 looks. The hasbro team said they’re looking to sprinkle in characters we haven’t gotten with deluxe and 2 pack offerings but I would imagine, like with what was intended for season 1, wave 4 will coincide with the season 2 drop.

But isn't Rogue's season 2 outfit the green hooded look? I believe that's what we'll be getting.

As for the Morrison era costumes, I think they were teased for Season 2 by Beau DeMayo, but haven't appeared in any leaks for toys, as far as I know.

Rogue wasn't in Morrison's X-Men, so are people hoping for the era inspired look with the bob haircut, grey sleeveless half shirt and "X" knee pads from X-Treme X-Men 19 cover?

When I think of the 'Morrison era' look I think more specifically of those Quietly puffy leather jackets with the big yellow X on them.

I just want Jean's striped shirt and alt coat. Only one!

But why are people excited for black costumes to take over in a cartoon? It's like the opposite of how people felt about the movie costumes. Leave the colors intact!

Also, as excited as I am for Jubilee, I'm actually kinda mad Hasbro chose not to do her default look on card because she's now the ONLY main cast who doesn't match. We were SO CLOSE. I'm sure they're going to double-dip on the classic look, probably on a comic retro card - but to ruin the line-up suckkkkssss. And everyone else's finale outfit change is in two-packs. They could have done the same for a powered-up Sunspot and finale Jubilee down the line.

I definitely would've preferred Jubilee's classic look too. I wonder if the head will be compatible with the old comic figure. It's one of those uniquely bright costumes that could, in theory, still fit in with the more vibrant animated look of the 97 figures.

Definitely curious to see what Beast comes with to make him deluxe. Unless it's something really cool, I think I'm fine enough with my existing Beast. I'd still really love a deluxe Bastion down the line, but I'd assume the likelihood gets less and less as the show goes on, but you never know.

I'm just excited for the show to return. Feels like it's been ages. I know animation takes a while, and nobody knows if the quality will remain post-DeMayo, but I crave the 'toons.

Maybe we can get a casual Roberto and default look Jubilee 2-pack. I'd love that.

I keep holding out hope at least a few are made. Wolverines would be relatively easy... he also had that look for the one Playstation game at the time. My feelings on this era are definitely based on nostalgia for the time

I honestly hated that look becasue nothing about it looks like it's from the 90's.
Assuming you mean Jubilee, that's partly why I love it. I never really looked at it as being from any specific decade (even if it practically screamed "80's"), I just always looked at it as Jubilee being eccentric and unapologetically herself. Even amongst a cast of colorful characters, she was a whole different level of colorful. Really added to that "misfit" feel that the X-Men are so known for.

Roberto's look I didn't really have any feelings for one way or the other. I feel like I remember some folks looking like that back in the 90's, but my memories could be way off. I know it's just supposed to be a jacket, but something about it reads more "windbreaker" to my mind.

For my part I'm definitely just thinking of the New X-Men crew that I want from this era. Cyclops, Beast, Jean, Wolverine, Emma, and (obviously) Xorn.

I know a lot of the other books had their casts in similar/matching black leather at this time (Uncanny had Angel, Iceman, Nightcrawler, Chamber, etc rocking complementary leathers) but I don't need the whole of X-Men represented here - just the Morrison team.

I was actually talking about Roberto. That outfit doesn't look '90's to me at all. Every time I'd see him my first thought would be "wrong era".

I was going to chime in to say that but I didn't want to speak for you in case you did mean Jubes (that'd be weird - a yellow trench is SO '90s - April started a whole thing). Roberto looks mid-2000s for sure with the khakis and coat.
