X-Men '97

My X-Men 97 Rogue pre-order switched to "backordered". I know that's not necessarily reason to fret just yet, but my luck is about 50/50 whenever it switches to that state. Keeping everything crossed they'll follow through.

I wonder if the price has anything to do with it- I ordered her back with whatever promotion was going on at the time, so she was only $18-ish before tax and shipping. I don't mind paying full price for her in-store if I can find her; I just want to finally add her to the collection.
 
Not sure if this was posted already but I saw that "Northstar" may be a mistranslation for "Polaris" since both words are similar in mandarin. Makes a lot more sense since she’s obviously a heavy hitter in season 2.

Also follows with US Agent being mistaken as Secret American for two figures, and I think there was another one like that
 
No Rogues available for pickup around me, but my boyfriend is on a trip to Arizona this week and she's in stock there, so he's picking her up for me. On a positive note, my earlier online order went from "backup" to "preparing to ship", so that's good. Ain't counting my chickens until she's actually delivered, but if I end up with an extra, anyone want/need her?

I left my house to go live life at the exact time you posted this, now it's gone.......

EDIT--A handful of stores in my area showed "limited stock". I rolled the dice and chose one. There was one Rogue dangling on the peg for me. Nice.

My Rogue preorder shipped! I placed that so long ago I didn't even remember it 😂
 
My Rogue shipped too, surprisingly, and despite originally being slated for delivery next week, is due today. I ain't complaining! Gambit can stop complaining how lonely he is up on the shelf.

As long as she makes it here safely, I should have an extra if anyone is still in need of her. I'd be happy to help out; hit me up if interested!

I got my X-men 97 Wolverine today from Target. I never got any warning that it was shipping lol. I already had one of these when I bought the entire X-men 97 Wave when it came out. But this is such a great Wolverine figure, I wanted to have another one.

I'll display this one with the unmasked head sculpt and the mask down behind his neck.

I passed on the X Men 97 wave when it came out because I was putting up my "I've got all the X Men I need" front. Then I saw the show and it end up being one of my favorite X Men efforts of all time. TV, movies, or comics. So I needed to play catch up. Thankfully I've got just about all of them now. Wolverine and Rogue, the two that were held hostage on the aftermarket for mercenary prices, were just brought home within the last 3 days. I'm only missing Xcutioner and red Magneto now.
