Retro card Beast wasn't an oversized card, it was a standard sized card with a deeper bubble.

I bet this Beast is in a deluxe box like Archangel. Hopefully not too steep in price.
 
UGGGHHHH, NNOOOOOOOOO. I just want the whole set on matching f'ing blister cards!!!

Really annoyed Charles isn't coming carded with his Hoverchair.

It's gonna happen - I'm going to have to keep Savage Land Charles and Retro Beast cards in my X97 display.

But also - what a surprise and a delight to see Beast out of nowhere and he looks GREAT!! FINALLY. Now - can we please have Bastion? I'm so curious what the hold up is with that character considering his prominence.

Have to assume Bastion was a Marvel Studios secret so they didn't get access to his design etc. If the next rumored 97 wave for Season 2 does well, I could see him sneaking into the wave after that.
 
Confirmed that Beast comes in a box, not on a card. Spotted pics from MCUcollector24 and Preternia.

At least it has a hang tag? But he's not even centered in the box. Ugh.

I hope the blue in the official photos is the correct shade and not the washed out physical sample they were messing with.

Looks good. Appears to be some subtle toon shading to liven him up. Only critique I have is that his trunks could be darker. He looks nude (and castrated).
 
Why does he not have fur? Even in the cartoon they made it look like he had fur. Maybe my eyes are broken.

The fur is really just part of the silhouette and the figure seems to reflect that. It's not going to stand out as much though if he's posed and one of the tufted parts is turned inward. His character model basically always has fur at the shoulders, forearms, and calves.
 
Beast is like 9....0...90? 90% there for me? Don't get me wrong, he's an immediate purchase. He does look great. His face is just sliiiightly off to my eye, but I can't peg exactly what it is I'd tweak.

But that ice-cube tray six pack is more and more distracting to me every time I look at him. It's like he taped one to his stomach for some reason.
