Wrestling Toys (Mattel WWE, Jazwares AEW, etc.)

I just got Elite Lola Vice, and can't help but laugh at Mattel making sure she got the Naomi "fat ass" sculpt, considering how perplexing some of their buck selection and approach to scaling typically are.
I haven't shipped her yet from POL. I thought Naomi was a decent, but I'm not liking what I see from Lola.
This is why you can't trust renders.

Good lord! That smiling face gives off serious stalker vibes. Like, she is telling everyone she is your girlfriend after you said hello to her one time!

I saw Karai Sane today. Rare to even find Elites for me, let alone one I want. But I skipped because they gave her studded glove hands and then just left it flesh. Come on.

I hope those guys have nothing to do with the DC line.
Yeah. This is the entire WWE line since the beginning for me. But the flaws are so much worse now over ten years down the road. There's NO reason why everything they do still feels so fucking cheap and low-effort.

It can be such an odd line at times. Walmart has a new Monday Night Wars Ultimate Scott Steiner that looks like he has pre or very early face print tech and he has the painted on biker shorts without a raised surface around the legs. Then they'll go all out on another figure with a new tool, raised details, and give a deco hit to nearly every grommet or rivet.

I feel like I've been complaining about the in-ring and figures for 30+ years, but here I am.

Clearly Bill has lost control of his spreadsheets :ROFLMAO:

I'm going to pull back some of my disdain for Lola's figure and place it on the photographer. I thought she looked gappy from the waist down in the photos, but it's fine in-hand.

How's the likeness in hand?
The smiling face isn't unattractive, but maybe a little too full and it throws off the likeness. I probably couldn't guess Lola Vice if you showed me just the sculpt. I agree with @CTV about the braided sculpt being the better of the two. The braids could use a spray of dull coat.
