Wrestling Toys (Mattel WWE, Jazwares AEW, etc.)

Terry "Magnum TA" Allen, formerly of Power Town Wrestling, was on Fig Guys (?) YouTube stream last night to talk about their years late figures. One of the amusing parts was him talking about the preorder process and finding it odd people would give a company money, then wait 9 months for the item. Lol. He thought it would be better for people to reserve an item, then pay later when the item is closer to delivery and have enough extra stock for others to buy at a slight mark-up. What a concept. He also mentions being able to start a construction company years ago with 20K, but a toy company should have 1 or 2 million. He claims the "steel is cut" for the 6" figures and the the Remco style figures are packaged.

I think it's safe to say Mattel will have a Jordynne Grace action figure ready before the one I ordered from Power Town in May '24. At the time, I figured they got their first series delivered and things would go more smoothly from there

Target/Mattel seems to be making one figure per wave unnecessarily difficult in the last two Legends series?
It's a baffling decision. Neither RVD or Michelle McCool have been available at retail, and only sold on Matty Collector. Pretty odd call, especially now that the Legends line has build-a-figures.

Walmart had one each of Dogg and Gunn. The legs packed with Mr. Ass had a rather unfortunate defect placement. It looks like a melt mark caused by a hot pointy object. It actually has me wondering if random or deliberate.

Man.... Billy was one of my favorite wrestlers growing up and all I want is for them to make a figure of him where his attire is actually accurate. Why is that too much to ask after like a fucking decade of them just re-using the same sculpting on things over and over again.
