Wrestling Toys (Mattel WWE, Jazwares AEW, etc.)

I thought ZST stuck to retro style Hasbro. I could have easily been in on 3 out of 4 of those figures had I known about them. Maybe I would've bought JJ too. I'm way out of the loop on wrestling figures from the small companies or they don't publicize enough. They need better influencers because I feel like every other 1/12, 1/6, and tranforming figure gets in front of my eyes for at least a few seconds?

Yeah, they ARE great figures. But obviously, they are lacking severely in the PR/Social Media department.

Second series is Bad New Allen, New Jack, Dino Bravo, and One Man Gang. I wanted to at least grab Pillman and start a little ECW collection with he and New Jack (since they'll likely get to Raven, as well). But yeah...

To quote good ol' JR--this attitude of theirs is bowling shoe ugly.

Got Chelsea yesterday. Mattel did the thing where they molded the right arm and left upper leg cap in white plastic. The arm has a little tan paint slop in the white and you can't see it from this angle, but there's a little white visible along the upper ridge of the bicep. It's still a cute despite, the two expression heads being iffy and the overuse of white molded parts.

I needed to use a flash, so it really brings out the skin tone differences, otherwise it doesn't look too off.

Matt Cardona had a known account on wrestlefigs.com, I guess Michael PS Hayes has an account on articulatedthoughts 😉.
"Chelsea Green's ceiling is a store exclusive or a short packed spot in an elite wave. She's not good enough to work as an Ultimate."

That's one of the expressions Mattel was going for. Didn't quite nail it.

I'm waffling on it because of the other heads are kind of a waste to me because they didn't nail it.

But I think when she has the hair on the default head really does look pretty pretty good.

On Jan 8, I noticed I never preordered UE Rhea from RSC (someone must've distracted me). I had to get in on the backorder for early April, which seemed so far away at the time. Meanwhile, on Jan 28, I preordered again, this time from Nerdzoic when I saw they re-opened their preorders for a March delivery. Tonight I got shipping labels from both stores.

Anyone know the difference between the new WWE muta figure being released and the old one that came out recently. Did they make him lighter skin and fix his body hair sploch paint job? If it's just a re-release I'll just get the old one available to me. The new pics make his skin look lighter and more realistic but it could just be lighting.
