The DOJ probe is a naked attempt to shield Trump once again and provide an excuse to continue withholding the Epstein files. I figured something was up when that worm of a house speaker basically stopped trying to block the vote.
 
Watching that press interaction on Air Force One yesterday where he deflected, denied, distracted, shouted Quiet at people etc...

I don't understand how people don't literally just laugh in his face every time he talks.
 
If humanity somehow survives long enough for all this to be in the history books (US or otherwise), nobody's gonna believe it, because it's gonna sound like the ridiculous, drug-fueled ramblings of a madman. Which, to be fair, it basically is, but still. History class is gonna be full of laughs those days!

Still, Trump blowing Clinton is a nauseating image that feels like it was conjured up by ChatGPT having a stroke, and I am all the worse for it. I miss who I was before I was aware of that concept. Gonna get lobotomized and bleach my brain to forget the image later if anyone wants to join.
 
Even during the fucking loser Bush Jr's psychotic, corrupt, and evil administration, never did I expect to see an official government channel outright calling Americans 'imbecilic morons' and referring to their protests as 'crying.'
 
I wish I could forget. You don't forget a President pretending to go full Dave Matthews tour bus on the American people. Made all the worse by the fact that, given the chance, I'm sure he'd do it in real life in a heartbeat.
 
Yeah, we're definitely well past the point where we can expect a solid half of Americans to change their minds based on his behavior.

I can't tolerate "most people are good" anymore because there's no way "good" has a supermajority in humanity when sufficient people can exist to block us doing anything about him. Maybe it's not 50%, but it's gotta be a solid 40% of humanity is absolute garbage.

“Good” and “bad” aren’t really how the human mind works, anyway, but the vast vast VAST majority of folks are motivated/imprisoned by reactionary fear. That doesn’t make them/us inherently “bad”, per se, but it makes them highly persuadable. And once you are letting other people tell you how to think and what to do, you are eminently capable of all kinds of “bad” things.

There is no “good guy” gene.
