Literally speechless. I just sat here for a minute contemplating this image. I know this is where we are heading, but to think that people actually want this dark reality is so disheartening.
 
Investors and CEOs only care about profits up to a point. What they actually want is to be untouchable kings and prices of a new aristocracy. That's why all these money losers are so quick to jump in with fascism -- it's a faster track to getting what they actually want; to be modern day nobility.

To say that rich assholes just want endless money is kind of reductive. What they actually want is endless POWER. They will go anywhere and do anything that they think will bring them that.

Also... remember that Russia still has elections. HAVING elections, in and of itself, is utterly meaningless.

I can already see it fritzing out my dad. He's just hit the stage where he just doesn't want to talk about it at all, or just take shots at Canada because they can't clean up their own yard.

Don't give in in advance. We will have elections, and we will hold these motherfuckers accountable.

My position is still that this administration is pushing too hard, too fast. The Kimmel move was desperate overreach. It's also gotten the attention of normies, which is the worst possible scenario for the White House.

If you're going to shore up your dictatorship, you need 1) popularity and 2) overwhelming military support. This is easily the least popular administration in modern American history. They're grasping at straws.

When I saw Trump say that criticizing him would result in losing your FCC license, I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. He might not last until the end of the year if they keep this up.

Not waving the white flag yet, but anyone with any power we thought might stand up to him hasn't so far so it's not a stretch to see them fucking with the elections. The banks, the networks, wall street all could have stepped on his little orange balls and said behave, we are making money and you are fucking it up, you need to keep oppression to a CERTAIN LEVEL so we can all stay rich and powerful you dumb fuck, but they all roll over and show him their bellies. The way the most powerful organizations and men in the world continue to lick his ass blows my mind. My dad was like "guys like Jamie Dimon won't let him tank the economy, they'll step up" and the only ones showing an ounce of courage are threatened people, public servants, and the occasional comedian.
