Hi fellow poll workers! I have been doing that within my home precinct so I get to know my neighbors well enough much to my chagrin.
I had to tell someone (& her kids) they needed to change their t-shirts as they were supporting a candidate. Of course got a look from her.

We also have those lunatics that want to divide Illinois. Same kind of rural Republicans envious of the big cities that get all of the attention. They have now decided to try to join Indiana instead.

You've never heard of Dan Larson? Dude is truly awesome. Love the content, but the guy just seems cool as shit. Didn't he do a PulseCon or something at one point, with the Joe team?

I think so. They also had their own convention last year in New Hampshire. I went by with my kids, bought some stuff, saw the Boba collection, and chatted with Dan for a bit. Seemed like a pretty genuine guy. I should have awkwardly asked if we could be friends and hang out.

If you had told me I would spend an hour or two listening to someone (and his wife) talk about blow molds and their past in the retail picture framing industry, I would have told you to stop sniffing glue. But here we are and I am enjoying listening to them whenever they do a livestream.







And yeah in all seriousness Dan seems like a pretty cool, chill guy. Plus he is into GI Joe so that automatically puts him higher up in my estimation.

@DarthDre758 got me onto Secret Galaxy and I think I spent three weekends in a row catching up on alllll their 80s toylines and movie videos, even stuff I wasn't as into. I still haven't watched the Twin Peaks one but I'm kinda saving that.

It's only a surprise because he's about as big a name as there is in the online Toy Community. Still, if you're not on YouTube much (especially if you're not into YouTube toy content) then he's not hard to miss. Secret Galaxy was previously known as Toy Galaxy. Dan was also featured on The Toys that Built America which I think was on A&E, but again, if you don't have cable or watch that channel you'd never know.

Heh, I’ve never heard of Dan Larson either. Then again, I only watch YouTube people when my wife wants to watch spooky amusement park walkthroughs and such. I’m just not interested in the “personality” aspect of it: just give me a written summary with relevant photos, no “color commentary”, no “influencing”, no “like and subscribe!!” That’s just all icky to me.
